Very good to have.
This thing is great. It is a bit unwieldy trying to fit up around pedals and around seats, but for the large flat areas it really pulls up the junk. Perfect for the rear of those SUV's that have hauled around dogs or the rear seat carpets where a glittery cheer bomb went off, or to remove the summer vacation sand from the minivans... I use it with a 60 gallon twin cylinder compressor and never run out of air, but it does have an appetite similar to a blow gun. I use a blow gun first anyway to knock the junk out from under things and away from seat rails and plastic trim, then this thing to finish the job.

Great quality
Quality is great. Have not had problems and i have it for years now. I use it to blow out my work truck and it gets the job done fast and efficiently. Store in a safe place and it will last for years.

Works exceptionally
Its says dry vac but you can use it wet for deep stains, sand, dirt, pet hair.. you name it. Its super powerful and easy to clean. I have given it the most grueling of tasks and it cuts through them with no issues. Even comes with spare rubber tips.

AWESOMESS IN YOUR HAND!!!!!!!
This piece of equipment is AWESOME. If you're a car detailer of anykind, driveway, professional, novice, etc, then get yourself the tornador velocity vac dry!!!! Your arms, back, elbow, wrist will thank you later! This makes vaccuming sooo much easier! I was always frustrated with floor matts because no matter how hard I tried they wouldn't come clean! This thing pulls all the grounded in dirt and sand right out the carpet! I am a very happy customer hence the five stars!

Well worth the investment
Fantastic, sorry I waited so long to add this to my arsenal, takes ground in sand, dirt etc and allows it to be cleaned up easily, is it expensive, yes, good tools are.

A must have tool
If you are being paid to clean someone elses car professionally this is a must have tool... there really isn't much to say. Absolutely no regrets with this one, 10x better than the regular tornador.

Didn't work as advertised. Only spun when it wanted to. Get the tornador black over this.
I tried it on a normal floor mat, from a normal detail job, not heavily soiled, not lightly soiled, roughly fits in between the two. My vac was a 6 hp craftsman shop vac, had to go out and by separate attachments to make it work. only comes with ones that would work on a smaller vac (similar to a rigid vacuum) So anyways, it worked when it wanted to. Didn't spin every time I pulled the trigger maybe 2 out of 10 trigger pulls did it spin. It was hit or miss when I pulled the trigger and flicking the end while pulling the trigger didn't help get it spinning. I find it more useful to use my air gun separately with my vac to blow out around the edges. Then follow up with the vac, this thing didn't save me any time, if anything all the attaching of ends one to vac one to air line etc created more of a hassle imo. Also a little bulky and difficult to use inside a car. But the worst part is that it only worked when it wanted to. Sending back and returning. Item had to have been defective because everyone swears by it... Rather test my luck with the tornador black. Hopefully that spins when its supposed to. Had high hopes-Highly disappointed. Especially at this price point, all it is, is a spinning airgun with a plastic shell around the tip. This thing shouldn't cost more than $50 yet its $125+. Hope my review saves you some time and money. Get the black if you're gonna get anything tornador. Maybe mine was just defective, but when it did spin it didn't work great either. unimpressed. ($75k Kaiser air compressor at 80psi, 6hp vac, In case you're wondering)

Not as good for heavily soiled material
So I'm a driveway detailer that's learning fast. I have bought and use tornador black, tornador foam gun, tornador velocity vac and tornador dry vac. As far as the velocity vac it does a decent job cleaning rugs and upholstery that are lightly soiled. Not as good for heavily soiled material. It is awkward to use inside the car due to 2 hoses and solution canister. You need a wet vac and fairly large air compressor to run it so that your not not constantly waiting for air pressure to rise and tank to fill - cfm 5.5 min air flow and 20 gal tank-30 gal better One thing one one has mentioned in any reviews I have seen is that you need to use the foam filter in the wet vac. If you use the paper filter it will get wet and mildew terribly requiring replacement. Actually if you want to use tornador for rugs and upholstery I would get the dry vac and spray cleaner on your project then vacuum it up with dry vac if you want to work inside as it is less awkward without the solution tank. The velocity dry is much better than wet dry for vaccum. It really does pick up animal hair. Would not vaccun large chunks up though with it. I have a steamer vx5000 also. Less complicated to set up and use for rugs and upholstery and can use for other hard surfaces and overall cheaper and more portable since you don't need air compressor- I assume all detainers would have a wet vac already. By the way the tornador black itself is a great piece of equipment. Somehow the steamer even with cleaning solution use just can't clean dirty door jams as well and both about the same for engine cleaning - going to need some degreaser use for both. For best results using steamer on most surfaces you will need to use rag over tool or scrub attachment at least if you use steamers like mine for many surfaces and vaccume after rug and upholstery cleaning By the way, just bought a mytee lite because I was not happy with velocity vac results on dirty Honda seat upholstery not cleaned in a while.
