Q: How long is the wire?

Long enough I can put them in my ears and run the chord down the back of shirt and threw my back belt loop and side belt loop and clip my MP3 player tou front belt loop and I have a long torso and wear 42 in waist. Also from back ok plugs to where the wire splits it's 14" them from where it splits to end of plug is 35" and if you measure from 3.5 mm plug to tip I ear plugs it's 50" total ok hope this helps and I love them work noise is blocked out and music quality is great and I work in a machine shop

Q: are they more or less durable than the old design?

I would say much more durable. I do wish the 1/8" plug was a straight design rather than the 90 degree version as I think it would cause less strain. Also, the plug is not exactly like yellow plug/blue cord that we have at work. The old design was exact, but the new plugs are a bit fatter where the cord comes out. Most supervisors should be oblivious but it is worth noting. I also use the GOgroove BlueGATE RXT up in the hardhat. Works like a charm. The new design does sound much better but still not as good as a good pair of earbuds, but that is to be expected as it is blasting out of a 1/16" hole. I love them.

Q: Are these headphones durabl?

they have been great for me not a problem treat them like you would headphones and dont be yankin on the cord but pull them out by the actual plug part like i do and i havent had any problems with them

Q: Is there a way of telling which one is left or right?

Not that I can tell. I use them for music, play by play sports broadcasts, and podcasts and it doesn't seem to matter which is which.

Bad a** and awesome

Amazing product, really reduce the noise as they say. I ride a very loud motorcycle and i finally get to enjoy the music. Next is the wireless one but its a bit pricey so gotta save up
