How does the beard secure to the face?

The beard is held in to the face by elastics over the head.

Does it come with hat?

No. The beard and wig make up the "set"

Is the beard and a mustache separate

The beard and mustache are not separate. This set is a very good quality.

Glue on or elastic straps?

The wig sits atop your head. The beard has elastic straps that go around the back of your head to hold it in place. Haven't worn it yet (it's not Christmas!), but it looks to be high quality and worth the price. Happy Holidays!
