I am in love with this product. I have some pretty rough allergies and finding limited ingredient products that don't set them off and actually work is difficult. This stuff is amazing. I'm able to style my hair in vintage 40's curl styles and a little bit of this pomade smooths down all the flyaways and hold things in place all day - even when in it's humid. It washes out of hair and off hands easily too. The watermelon smell is delicious and fun without being too much. I've been using it almost daily for a couple weeks and haven't even made a dent in the container. The pomade is a soft pink/coral color, but it isn't so tinted to be noticeable on my ash blonde locks. I am looking forward to discovering all the style possibilities now that I have finally found an effective product.

I have very fine, chin-length hair that I've been wanting to find a product for to add volume and hold well. I bought Suavecito (the guys' version of this) last weekend and really liked it, but the smell is really overpowering, and I realized pretty fast that I don't want to have that overpowering guy smell. Like, even after showering I could still kind of smell it. I bought this and tried it out today and am really excited about it! The grapefruit/strawberry smell is subtle, but really nice, and it's also a little lighter and less sticky than Suavecito. It's also a huge added bonus that you can do retro waves and curls with this product because I style my hair like that semi-frequently. I think this stuff is better than gel or other firm hold styling products because it's lightweight and workable and it only takes a little bit to give volume to your hair. EDIT: After using for a little while, I will say that it *is* pretty sticky, and if you have fine hair you'll probably rip out some hair while putting it in- I've been putting it in while my hair is wet to minimize that but it still happens. BUT- this is SO great for wet sets with foam rollers! I've tried so many different types of sets to try to get retro-looking curls, and I've always used setting lotion on dry hair (with hot rollers, rag curls, different types of foam rollers), but I tried this on wet hair with regular drug store foam rollers and didn't even have to leave the rollers in very long at all and got actual defined waves that stayed in a pretty long time. It's SO hard to get my hair to curl and stay curled without immediately going flat, so that really says a lot! Also adds shine, just don't use too much or it'll get greasy.

So I love the way this pomade works but holy hell does it smell strong! The smell lasts ALL DAY LONG. I am no longer able to use it as the strong smell gives me a headache. I wish the scent was more subtle because the pomade really does work great.

Fantastic! This stuff is a game changer. How did I go so long without it? It polishes off my 1940's wet sets perfectly and keeps away the frizzies. It's a huge tub that will last me a long time and it smells really good, like watermelon candy.
