I bought these as I was found with high cholesterol after a blood test. I've used an entire bag (although sometimes forgot to take them some days) and my second blood test showed a nice decrease in bad cholesterol so they do work. I'm gonna start my second batch to support getting back to normal levels. These are great value as well, much better than supermarket food items that claim to help reduce cholesterol. Note: these used to come in a bottle and capsule form with powder. They are now coming in a bag and round pill forms rather than capsules which is easier to swallow.

I’m taking them and find I need to chew as they are quite large to swallow whole - Not sure if they work tbh but can only hope - obviously a cholesterol test kit may help - you can only try but some confirmation of results is required before a regular purchase

Quick delivery and was able to have it delivered to a drop off point as home deliveries aren’t the best service on Amazon. Well packaged, good quality and a good price. Will be ordering more when I have finished these.

Have been on these for 3 months now along with a Red Rice yeast extract tablet. Had my levels checked at the GP before starting and my LDL was 5.8 Just had it checked again and my LDL is 5.9 Being somewhat bemused by this I started to do more research and it appears that you need between 1500 & 3000mg per day of Sterols to be effective in reducing cholesterol. Beware of companies that state daily doses that fall below 1500mg as it will likely not be effective and your cost per month will increase

Disappointed to see this supplement packed with fillers like calcium carbonate, microcrystalline cellulose, and sodium carboxymethylcellulose. Calcium carbonate can contribute to kidney stone formation, especially for those prone to stones. Sodium-based additives may put unnecessary strain on the kidneys by increasing filtration load. Magnesium stearate can also reduce nutrient absorption. While plant sterols are beneficial, these added fillers make it less suitable for those with kidney concerns or anyone seeking cleaner, purer supplements. And for people taking this to lower cholesterol, that’s a heavy daily load of unnecessary additives that can contribute to more problems over time. I recommend a cleaner plant sterol supplement like those from British Supplements. I wish I'd checked the whole ingredients list first. Waste of money.

Based on recent research, the best plant sterols for lowering cholesterol are those that provide a daily dosage of 1.5g to 3g (1500mg - 3000mg) of phytosterols or stanols, this be product only gives you 1200g daily and advices against increasing daily intake. Each tablet is half size of others I’ve used and half strength, if you are looking to maintain rather than lower your cholesterol these might be ok for you but for me they’re expensive and don’t do the job I need them to do.
