So very happy with this kettle. If I recall correctly a couple of reviews I read before purchasing said their water tasted plasticky. When I buy a new kettle I always boil up several kettlefuls before actually using it to make a drink, etc. Whether it's just coincidence or this helped I've had no funny taste. The kettle boils quickly & much quieter than my previous one, it is lighter in weight, good for us less fit people & looks so stylish. I would recommend to anyone.

Kettle worked fine and reliably and appeared as shown, After two years some of the plastic coating spalled from the base material. Switch died at 2 years and 10 months, so lasted beyond its warranty period. Reasonable kettle which lasted between 2 to 3 years in a household of six people,

It works better that the one I had of anther make. It's quiet, boils quickly, looks good and is light. I like the cup measurements inside and the lid is easy to remove.

We've used the cheaper Russell Hobbs kettles for the last 3 we've bought over more than a decade and been pleased with them. Bought the more expensive one this time because at the time only grey and white were listed, black being shown as out of stock. Very surprised at the higher quality and feel of this one, plus the removable lid was a bonus as we only fill our kettles from a filter jug and the usual cause of failure was failure of the flip-up lids the cheaper version had. Very highly recommended.

I like the modern design of the kettle but most importantly the fact that you can boil just enough for one cup/mug of water. It therefore saves money and is good for the environment.

Stopped boiling after 7 months. The light comes on but nothing happens. It looks nice but is very cheap plastic, doesn't look as good as you think it will. Can't even contact seller...
