Q: Safe to use with impact wrench?

No chromed set or any other socket set not explicitly designed as an impact set should ever be used in an impact gun. They can explode and hurt you. Impact sockets and tools actually have flex built into them which helps them absorb the impact but also it helps them in applying the impact to the nut you're removing or tightening.

Q: What are the dimensions of the insert? not the carrying case. so i can measure it versus my packout cases and decide how to make it fit.

They actually for 20 bucks sell a set of packout tray inserts at home depot that allow you to take a packout small parts tray and get rid of the bins inside it and put the tray in it, then transfer all the sockets into it. You can get one that holds 3/8 and 1/4 for big parts box, or small tray inserts for each of the 3/8 sae and metrix and 1/4

Q: Can you use a packout Organizer with this set???? if so which one should I get????

Milwaukee sells this set in a packout case. Loom it up on google and get the case number that is with that kit.
