Nice and Sharp 👍🏼👍🏼
I’m quite pleased with these tools. Cut through 5oz veg-tan like soften butter. Good product good value.

Great Skiving Tools
These are great. They work as intended and will not fail you as long as you keep them sharp.

Worth the money but not more
I bought this set mainly to try the flat blade knife. I had been looking at them for a while and didn't want to spend a lot of money and discover that I don't like that style of knife. I absolutely love the style. It's easy to work with. It's very versatile and easy to sharpen. The problem I have with it is that the blade dulls quickly. For the price I spent I didn't expect premium quality so I by no means regret my purchase. Yes, I adjusted the handle slightly which is why it is darker than what was delivered.

Great quality for the price
I have been using these for a couple of months to give an accurate review. I have been very pleasantly surprised at how well these inexpensive french edgers have worked. They arrived reasonably sharp, but I put a razor's edge on them. Now I just strop them with green compound after each use and they have maintained that razor's edge. They glide through every leather I've tried them on, including Crazy Horse oil tanned that my standard edger won't work on at all. I rarely use them on edges, as I use my straight knife for that. But they worked fine for that when I tried them on it. I use them to thin out 7-8 leather down to 4-5 for wallets and notebook covers. It's a bit like mopping the floor with a toothbrush on a large piece of leather, but they give me a clean, even cut so it is still a net gain in time. Best of all, I do not have to replace expensive razor blades with these. Just clean and strop them and put them away. They are well-balanced and easy to hold and work with. Overall, great quality for the price. I would highly recommend this set.

Skiving blades
Love this set for a novice leather artist. They are really sharp, easy to hold and use. For my use, I'm very happy with them and would recommend them. I found the price for this set quite reasonable and the variety of sizes is great.

Happy with the quality!
Just received these 3 tools, and got them out of the plastic bag for examination. The handles appear to be a form of ash or oak. They are nicely shaped. The finish looks even but left a little rough to the touch - which is not a problem for me. The ferrels are tight and appear to be of decent quality. I was most happy with the sharpness of each tool. Sharpening these requires some skill and a special sharpening process. So I VERY happy that they came sharp, and the metal looks good - not super cheap. I am a seasoned woodworker who can recognize good tools. These are not top of the line, but I expect use and be happy with them for a long time.

Good tool for first time buyers
So after I got these in i, like any sane person, immediately started playing with them. I fully expected to need to sharpen them as nothing is really ready to go right out of the box, but these performed admirably on first use. The handles are comfortable, and don't have a thick coat of poly so they don't feel like plastic. There are some lathe marks, but that can be quickly cleaned up and doesn't affect performance. My only real grip is that I don't know what kind of steel this is made out of, but otherwise these seem pretty serviceable. If anything, I'll pull the handle off and replace with something a bit sturdier, and sand the handle to remove any leftover machine marks, but for what I got at this price, I'm happy with it. Oh and it gets shipped in bags rather than a box, so they thankfully added tip protectors.
