This thing is great. Holds my phone out of the way. Doesn't block any vents. It has held up very well. The last phone holder I had broke within 6 months. This one is still going strong. If it ever does break I would buy the same thing as a replacement for sure.

I'm only using this as a phone holder in my truck, My phone is little heavy for it but it works nice

I had an adhesive dash-mount magnet in my previous van, a 2015 Grand Caravan. With my new 2017 GT model, I really didn't want to have the cables running up and down the console from the 12v to the top of the dash. Fortunately, the center console of this model has the 12v plugs mounted higher so this unit, with the built-in USB plugs positions perfectly for at-a-glance and easy-reach access to the phone. I bought a 6" USB-C that is, if anything, an inch or two shorter than is ideal but it works.I was concerned that two USB ports underneath the DC plug would be too large to fit between the DC plug but it actually fit with a few mm to spare.Magnet is good, so far I have had no slippage with my phone mounted to it, and the short USB makes it a very neat-looking installation in the front console bucket, which has this in one DC plug and my 4-USB outlet in the other.

The design of this phone mount is perfect for my needs but unfortunately it is not very well made. I have had to buy three of these so far. I'm a truck driver and in some cigarette lighters they fit kind of snug enough that they won't fall out of position but that's only sometimes. The nut that secures the ball to the back of the mount breaks very easily. The only reason I keep buying it is because it's the only one designed in the way that I need. So far I have spent $60. I'm going to try using a nut and mount from a high quality phone mount and see if that works for me. If this design works for you then I guess you will have to weigh the odds but be warned you may have to buy more than one. So the price really isn't that good.

Quite possibly the weakest magnet out there. This thing couldn’t hold a sneeze. Garbage!!

So all around this thing is amazing. First, product fits nicely in the slot i ordered it fire because I didn’t want a vent or to hang anything off the rear view. Holds my phone great. Had an issue with the included magnet plate and contacted the vendor and had the replacement magnet plates quicker than I did the product. Kudos and get it you won’t be disappointed

I was looking for a magnetic phone mount for the car as I don't trust the strength of the suction mounts. I also did not want something that would block my air vents. With the added power outlet plug, I knew I found the perfect phone mount. The magnet is strong so the phone is not going to move. The mount itself is sturdy after being plugged in and supports the weight of the phone. I only need a short USB micro-mini (I keep the phone in a Mophie case) to plug the phone in - so I can keep the clutter of cables to a minimum.

The neck of the charger could be a little longer to accommodate my car.
