This is an excellent bread scoring lame. I have used a previous one for several years and thought I'd add a new one, very nice, comes in a case, so that when I throw it in a drawer, it's protected - the blades are surprisingly sharp - works great for my sourdough bread business!

Very good lame kit, with spare blades and a leather blade protector. I like it because of the wood handle, which protects my hand while I score the bread. The case it comes in is also a nice addition, as it keeps everything organized in one place (the last thing I need is sharp objects dancing inside a drawer). Love my purchase.

I love this lame and would search no farther. The handle is ergonomic to hold and use, it works well. It is ready to mount any of the 12 individually wrapped razor blades and score bread with it. The plastic case holds everything including the extra blades, and the top snaps on tightly. This makes it safe to use and to store in the drawer. Search no further. A good value and a delight to use.

This Lame works very nicely. Easily put together. Since using razor blade that needs to be loaded onto handle care must be taken

Got into baking bread. Been using a knife to score dough prior to baking. Wasn't sharp enough to make a clean cut. Chose this particular lame because the store box kept all contained, safe & tidy. Blade was easy to attach & very sharp. Scoring the risen dough was simple & I just carefully wiped the blade clean to store. My 1st time using a lame. Glad I chose this one.

Absolutely perfect for scoring bread. I bake a lot and this has been a life changer. It's easy to use and comes with its own case to be stored safe.

Great lame, exactly as described. Made my first baguettes today, used a lame for the first time. This was easy, very sharp, precise. Looking forward to learning more and expanding my cuts/designs with this great tool. I looked at a lot of different ones with different handles, different types of blade mounts, and ultimately chose this because the kit was not overly complicated, and it was a great price. Felt good in my hand as I held it and used it. Very happy with it!
