My husband is 6’4” and these are the best towels for him. The only thing I would say is to wash it once in cold water and then do a short wash without soap in cold water. There was some lint in the first wash so we just washed it in cold water the second time. Other than that, it did not lose his color or shape or it’s form and we are very pleased with this and how it’s made.

I have had these towels for a year and eight months. After comparing the multitude of offers, the wording of descriptions, and reviews, I settled on American Soft Linen and bought a set for our house: 2 Jumbo Large Bath Towels; 4 bath towel set; 4 hand towels; 4 washcloths. I was pleased upon opening. They were plush. The terry loops were long and dense. I had chosen Navy Blue, knowing that that could have issues. None. Color consistent through all pieces. All edges well finished, the dobby bands tight and even. Considering the total investment, I studiously followed the "breaking-in/setting" instructions provided, washing in cold water with vinegar and tumble dry, medium high until just completely dry, and hanging them.(carry over heat enough to dry them. I will use a towel for two to three days before laundering. So, over ~600 days, perhaps 200 cycles +/-. The initial wash/dry cycles yielded HUGE amounts of lint from all pieces I prewashed the set a second time. This concerned me: so much lint indicated several possibilities: the raw cotton was NOT long staple Turkish or Egyptian cotton; the spinning of thread was not tight, the pile was TOO long, the weave was not tight. I always laundered towels separately. I did not overcrowd. All the pieces have held color consistently consist darkovercrowded. The dobbies didn't shrink or shed threads. Stayed soft. I don't use softener. VERY absorbent. Dried quickly if hung on bar. Soft, but not too soft; I could still invigorate myself with rubbing just rough enough to slightly exfoliate. For some reason I got it into my head to rub harder with a flat weave hand towels. Off rolled the blue lint in the photos above. 😖 After one year and eight months they continue to coat my body with an heretofor unseen blue coating. "Turkish" in this context, must simply indicate "from" Turkey, NOT indicating "constructed" from long fibered, tightly spun and woven into a stable plush.
