I liked it so much, I bought another one. This was easy to install, and it works great as a night stand or side table. The hidden compartment is a nice and isn't noticeable.

Made from solid pine. Good value. Packaged well. Came with clear instructions. Assembly is simple and quick. Magnet key and concealed drawer works well. Any strong magnet works as a key if your main one gets misplaced. Clever design making a handy bedside table built with a Large base that prevents a tip over.

It was very easy to assemble, seems sturdy enough for my purposes. I use it as a night stand next to the bed. The concealed drawer blends well and you would not know it is there by just looking. The magnet lock is clever and works well. And yes, any strong magnet will open it. But someone would need to know A) a drawer even exists B) a magnet is what opens the drawer and C) the exact place to put the magnet to open the drawer. Would I trust this in a home with small children to store a firearm, NO. But it is fine in my opinion in a home free of kids. My only negative is the finish could have been a little nicer, but for the price it is acceptable. And it is actual real wood, not particle board. I would buy it again.

This just arrived the other day, it was shipped fast and very nicely; carefully bubble-wrapped as to not become damaged during transport. The finish looks nice. Looks to be made of real wood and not particle board material. It also comes with a manual that carefully explains how to assemble, which only took me about five minutes to do. My only complaint about this would be two things: 1- The hidden compartment doesn't sit flush with the rest of the base, if you look closely at it, you might be able to figure out that tell that it could be a drawer of some kind. Otherwise, at a distance it just appears to be a table with an abnormally large base. 2- As some other reviewers have pointed out; The magnet doesn't seem to be strong enough. The magnet itself it housed in a sleek plastic white case (as shown in the pictures) Which looks nice, but just that thin layer of plastic takes away from the magnets strength. What Ive done to fix this is, Ive just taken the magnet out of its white plastic casing. Youre left with a magnetic coin, but now, it's strong enough to perform its intended function. Note: Im thinking of attaching the magnetic coin to the BOTTOM of a candle or book (or something of the sort) to conceal the magnet, and when moved/slid overtop of the locking mechanism, will serve as the key, unlocking the drawer. This way the small coin shaped magnet is less likely to get lost. Overall, I do recommend this product. It is very cool and inexpensive.
