As always. Same size, taste and texture.
Grew up in Maryland and Pennsyvania, been eating these things since the early 70's. when I was stationed overseas relatives used to ship these to me. For Christmas I would order these and other Tasty Kake products for my mother, also from Maryland and Virginia, but who moved to Texas. When Tasky Kake went bankrupt and was purchased by Mrs Freshleys I was concerned they would change the recipe that has been the same for half a century at least. Mrs freshleys said they would not change the recipes and they havent. They still taste the same as they did for the last 50 years of me eating them. But Mrs Freshleys, being an Atlanta based company, you would think they would have these were I live two hours away. Right after Freshleys took over they began selling TastyKakes in every store here including these Kandy Kakes. But very shortly after they began selling them, they stopped and they havent sold them since around the first few months. On top of that, they opened a Tasty Kake Outlet store 20 minutes away and you still can't get the good stuff. But I did find out the reasons why and if you grew up eating these, I'll put a little bit of interesting history on what happened during the bankruptcy, and why the good stuff isnt even sold in the outlets. But being relegated to buying the good stuff here, I still give them five stars because Flowers Foods (Who owns Freshleys and Tasty Kake and other brands) did not change the recipe and they still taste exactly as they always did. Even if they did make changes, I cannot tell. They are the same size as they have always been, have the exact same taste and texture. So for me it's a definite five stars.

Expensive & pretty good
It took a while for these to get delivered. They were pretty good & my son Loves them. They definitely cost so much more than when I had them in years ago & are not exactly the same. The chocolate is more waxy but they were ok. Way too expensive for what you get. Nostalgia is half the experience with these Baked goods.

Delicious - with memories.
It was so great to find these! I loved them as a kid growing up in Pennsylvania. You can't find them here in Missouri. These are the best of the best of Tastykakes!

Fresh and delicious
I’ve been wanting to try the peanut butter kandy kakes for some time but was reluctant to order as I was concerned they might not be fresh. I finally broke down and ordered some, so glad I did; received on 3-30-24 and the fresh by date is 4-22-24. They are delicious morsel and I definitely will be ordering more.
