First, this is like my 8th or 9th review I’ve written for this product because I HATE all of the negative, uninformed reviews that are potentially deterring prospective buyers from ever trying this life-changing (or at least look-changing) Imako Cosmetic Pseudo Teeth! In my opinion, after four years of repurchasing just over a dozen sets of this amazing product, during which time I’ve had to replace them as they’ve all inherently incurred subtle aggregate yellowish stains from my own lifestyle choices (i.e. it’s not the company’s fault that I choose to smoke cigarettes, or that I enjoy the freedom of eating while wearing them, nor are they responsible for the fact that Ive always been known to ingest a wide range of beverages from red wine, grape juice, teas and even coffee, to my systematic use of “home strategies” that I believe enhance my basic oral hygiene routine by cleansing, disinfecting and whitening each pair on a regular basis in order for their overall usability to be prolonged for as long as possible), it is not only possible to obtain a brand new smile (and subsequently feel as though you have a whole new outlook on the world, or at least the world has a whole new view of how it perceives me!) but it is the ONLY legitimate, non-procedural means of masking your crooked, overlapping or missing teeth with easy to follow instructions for a one-time (per purchase) simplistic method that helps avoid the costly dental expenses associated with dentures or cosmetic veneers, while simultaneously giving you back a level of confidence that is equal to, if not far surpassing the sub-adequate self-image with which you’ve struggled due to subtle oral foibles to overt tooth damages, appearances of nonexistent mouth deformities, bleeding gums or halitosis disease! I NEVER smiled in pictures before Imako, and my entire formative childhood years was negatively affected by the “headgear” I was forced to wear to correct a horrid overbite! Headgear that failed to deliver on its supplier-made promises, and actually proved to overcorrect my misaligned teeth, causing a even more horrid overlap within my upper and lower incisors, canines and premolars! Not being lucky enough to count myself in the 3% of the upper classes of American populace, you know the type with disposable income that enables them to throw thousands into corrective dental work, I had succumbed to the fact that nobody would ever have a picture of my teeth, despite the fact that my crowded front grill was easily visible whenever I’d talk, yawn, smile, yell or do anything else that required me to open my mouth more than 1/8” to sip water through straws, at least there’d be no long term, tangible proof of my less than ideal grin on photography! Well now I no longer worry if someone pops out their phone and I’ve even begun posting my own selfies in which nobody has been able to tell that I’m flashing them my fake pearly whites! If you’re having trouble fitting your Imako set, or if you’d like some tips on how I’ve adapted my instructional routine of forming each new set to fit my mouth without looking like Mr. Ed, see one of my other reviews by clicking on my profile pic! But I didn’t only write this particular review to yet again negate all the naysayers, nor to give pointers from my own trial and error history, but instead I wanted to remark on these new Dr. Bukk model that is advertised as being “for women.” I saw a question inquiring the difference between the “small natural” and the new “women’s” size so I ordered a two for one set a little earlier than I normally would’ve purchased them to see if there actually is a difference in the size, quality or substance....and then to share my findings here! My hopes weren’t high as one or two people had already replied with a definitive “No”, minus any explanation or background to offer further insights into their opinions (because after all, what is a review but one person’s opinion), but I was pleasantly surprised to find that (in my opinion, based on my personal experiences over the years) the women’s size is slightly smaller, more flexible and observably “see-through” than the originals! So now I’m updating my review to praise the company’s initiative in improving on there already amazing product by customizing subtle changes in their design to better fit the smaller mouths without having to modify as much to prevent the dreaded “horsey lip”! I’ve posted comparison pics in which the differentiations are very subtle, almost to the point of being nonexistent to the untrained, naked eye. In fact I couldn’t tell the difference until I had molded the first one to my upper grill and then looked in the mirror to gape in amazement at the vast improvement in overall quality of the appearance! Note that my first and last pics features my pre-improved Imako smile while the center two boast an obviously more “petite” look in the product itself while giving my upper lip a more natural look! So to all the naysayers, the same advice stands-practice makes perfect and please don’t comment after one impatient, failed attempt! To newcomers or hesitant buyers, again, I recommend reading some reviews of people who’ve given positive reviews as well as their personal tips to lessen the difficulties associated with fitting and molding them to your natural teeth (and not to brag, but my own “how to” tips are pretty detailed)! And to those who’ve already fallen in love with the originals and you may not see the point in “trying to fix what ain’t broken”, I’d generally agree with you, HOWEVER, whatever Imako did to revamp their originals, once you get it in your mouth, you’ll likely agree that while there may not be anything “wrong” with the small sized set, apparently there’s always room for improving on the best! So to Imako, I once again express my adoration for your ongoing work and ask that you continue your endeavors in making your product so much more than “the only acceptable and affordable alternative” and keep striving to perfect your product until we can get these reviews up to the 4-5 stars your hard work and effort deserves!

Vert easy to fit,and I think they look great

These are great, and here's why... First off they look beautiful once you have them correctly in place. Some people say their a bit too white, but for my darker skin tone whiter is better. Their a pain in the butt the first time or two you mold one of these but the good news is if you mess up, no big deal! You can simply reheat them in hot water and re mold as much as you need to. Now a tricky part of this is to make sure they don't look like buck teeth. For this push the bottom or edge of the flashes to being almost flush with the teeth below, except just a tiny sliver below the natural teeth line, you don't want your natural teeth showing. Now for the upkeep, I find these last longer if you use a clear coat of a good nail enamel, I use Revlon brand but I do if that matter much. Do one coat. Is say maybe every other day remove all the clear coat with nail polish remover or remover if the polish chips off, this technique is recommended on their site as well. Then let soak overnight in the highest percentage rubbing alcohol you can find, I believe is 97%?, I like to use half rubbing alcohol and half hydrogen peroxide. Then the next morning use a soft bristle tooth brush and scrub it with that solution mix. Since in cool water and brush with toothpaste to make sure no more chemical is on it. Then let dry completely and re apply one coat of clear nail enamel. Might sound like a lot but once you get a routine with it its not that bad and you have a perfect smile after. No one can ever tell I'm wearing an overlay. They think their real and just compliment on how beautiful they are. I do have do buy a pair every month or two because they do still yellow even with treatment. But they last longer that way than without. I use these every single day, not just on occasion by the way to give you an idea. And I'm a smoker and sometimes drink coffee too. Do be warned tho, these will hurt your gums just like dentures might. You might get sores until your gums harden a bit. I don't have problems anymore but when I first started it hurt for sure. Don't give up on trying them tho! Trust me you'll end up loving them!!!

To start, I think what will help them look more natural is some staining, because no one has perfect colored teeth from front to back. However, even without the staining, they are an obvious better option than what im naturally working with. This coming February will be 7 years clean but the damage has already been done. Also I never had all my teeth, I never had one of my incisors, so my smile has always been off center. The fake teeth feel very similar to when I had braces, not the pain, but the bulk. I look like I have an overbite but it's because my teeth jut outward. It took about an hour to get the right fit and I still want to adjust them a tad and bring the back up a bit. I'm beyond grateful for these and I'm wearing them around the house to get used to the new look. Thank you imako 💗

This is my 5th or 6th purchase of the same product. My best advice- Be patient. Work with them. Walk away when you get frustrated, wait a day, then come back. They work! They do NOT look stupid. You may need to make adjustments. I had to make adjustments. I have a VERY small mouth. I have to file down the canine teeth a little. The very first set I used exactly as instructed but was always a little nervous with them. From the second set onwards, I used with denture adhesive and feel more confident. I wouldn’t describe them as comfortable but I would never assume any prosthetic teeth would be comfortable. But, they look good. I wear them high on my gums because that’s where they look the best (remember – small mouth). When I wore them lower, I had more difficulty speaking without a lisp. The best “comfort” analogy I can give is… it’s “as if” you’re stuck in 3-inch heels, when you’re accustom wearing sneakers all day. Luckily, I only have to be face-to-face with the public 2-3 hours a day and can remove the teeth afterwards. Appearances matter. I would not be taken seriously and would NEVER be able to go in public without the Imako Cosmetic Teeth, so I’m grateful to have them available. Why purchase 5 or 6 sets?? Similar to my favorite sunglasses... I lose them. I lost my front teeth due to a fall during COVID. With my insurance co-pay, I’d need to pay more than $8000.00 to have my teeth fixed and dental finance companies are a scam. Until I raise the money for my dental procedure, Imako Cosmetic Teeth save the day. If you're deciding whether to purchase these and looking at negative reviews, please notice the majority of negative folks were not ultra careful when making their selection in the order process. I too have ALMOST selected the wrong size, wrong color, or almost purchased the single pack (when I intended to purchase the double pack). Make sure you double check your order in the shopping cart before final purchase.
