Have used this clay pot to bake several loaves of bread now and it truly works great. I've used baking stones, baking steeles, and cast iron dutch ovens in the past to bake my sourdough bread - and this clay pot makes a better loaf than any of those other methods. The bread from this comes out with a nice crisp, well blistered crust, while the crumb is moist, airy, and light. The loaves expanded better during the bake - I think because the clay is soaked in water before the bake and then the pot, with dough inside, is put into cold oven to start the bake. This gives a more gentle start to the bake, with nice steam generated from the damp clay - giving the crust more time to easily expand before the crust hardens, Great bread.

Usato per la cottura del pane ma adatto anche per pietanze a base di carni e verdure . Consiglio la visione dei dettagliati filmati per il primo uso ( immersione in acqua del manufatto per 12 ore ecc) ma poi funziona a meraviglia in quanto la terracotta assorbe l'umidità e la rilascia gradualmente nel forno rendendo le pietanze particolarmente morbide. Lo consiglio

Meat cooked in a claypot is amazing! My old one did not have the coating on the bottom that is on this one. I still have it. I soak my old one in water for about 10 minutes before use. Did the same with the new one, but may not have needed to do this. I needed an extra one due to a large family gathering. I also have a silicon mat that I put underneath the meat to keep it from sitting and steaming in juices. My family raves about the tenderness of the meat.

La verdad es que ya tenía una desde hace algunos años, así que conocía el producto, tiene muy buena relación calidad-precio y además es decorativo, se puede poner en la cocina a la vista y queda bien. Las ventajas son muchas, ya que es fácil de usar, y además no ensucia el horno, además se pueden hacer diferentes asados tanto de carnes como de verduras, el pescado también pero recomiendan usar un recipiente exclusivamente para el pescado ya que la tapa es porosa. También se puede usar para cocer panes. Además de asadas, las piezas también se doran. Viene con un folleto q incluye alguna receta. Es manejable ya que no pesa mucho
