Teva Women's Ventura Cork 2 Wedge Leather Sandal

This is my second pair like this.Still wearing my first that I bought elsewhere, but they are so comfortable, and classy looking for a casual sandal, I was concerned it may be a style they may not have next year.Nice neutral color, goes with everything.I have been wearing Teva for years, and they are very comfortable!!I have back issues, and these never make my body hurt or tired.My first pair are an 8 1/2 W.I have a bit of a wide foot, so they are pretty comfortable.My new ones are 8 1/2 M, a little more snug, but leather stretches.Quality seems to be there. I have been wearing almost every day for 9 months now, still like new.I have a lot of cheaper shoes, but I gravitate to these, for comfort, style, and flexibility, and I get a lot of compliments on them, especially from my husband.

I own a pair of these Teva sandals (Ventura Cork 2" Wedge Leather Sandal) in black and wore them all last summer. VERY NICE and VERY comfortable.......the sandals seem to cross between casual and career with no problem. So I ordered a pair in brown for this summer. I didn't get a chance to wear them right away, and I wasn't worried about it as I already owned a pair and loved the sandal. Well, I should have worn them sooner. By the time the weather warmed up enough to wear them to work, I discoverd that the right sandal does not fit the same as the left one. The metal ring on the front of the right sandal digs into my foot, producing a blister. Too painful to wear. When I went to return them I discovered I only had 30 days to do so and my time was up. I should have gone to Zappos. bummer, wish the righ sandal wasn't defective.........

The first pair of these I owned were brown, then I bought a black pair, and then this red pair. These are the most comfortable shoes I own, mostly because the design means that it doesn't matter how wide my feet are (very) or how high my arches are (extremely). In the picture of this shoe, there's no black velcro showing with the top strap folded over. When I wear these, I have 2 inches of black velcro showing because my arches are so high. With most shoes, I don't have that option.I own quite a few pairs of Teva shoes, including a beige pair of Pretty Rugged Leather II that I wore on a four-day kayaking trip. They spent four days wet and then looked like new once they dried out. The Ventura Cork sandals aren't advertised as being waterproof, but because other Teva sandals do so well in water, I don't have to worry about walking through puddles in them.Other people have said that the metal triangle hurts their feet. Luckily, the bunions that make my feet so wide are just behind the triangle so it's not a problem for me.7-28-2010. Correction, it's the brown pair of these that have black velcro. The red ones have red velcro so it's not obvious that the arch adjustment has been loosened.

I really love these sandals! I walk a lot at work and I can comfortably wear these all day long. They are very light and provide great support while looking stylish! The only reason that I gave them 4 stars instead of 5 is because the leather on the foot bed is black and so the bottom of my feet are black at the end of the day. This isn't a deal breaker for me but it may be for some people. I think that the pros definitely outweigh this one negative. I would purchase them again!

I ordered these sandals as a birthday gift for myself so that I would have something nice, comfortable and versatile to wear on my honeymoon. I LOVE them. So comfy & stylish. I can wear jeans, dresses, shorts w/e with them and have plenty of comfort and stability. After breaking them in, I can tell these are going to be my favorite footwear. A little bit of toe chafing at first (which I personally experience with EVERY pair of sandals I break in) and then nothing but smooth walking. Its going to be hard not to wear them all the time before my honeymoon!

Ordered 2 pairs of this Teva style and had to return them. Absolutely beautiful styling and comfort as long as you don't walk in them. Within 15 minutes I had a blister on both feet where the buckle across the top of the toes rubbed it raw. I believe other reviews mentioned this as well. I should have listened. Really loved this style but just couldn't handle the blisters.

Have bought several similar shoes in the Teva range - including flats (great as a walking sandal) as well as the wedge style. All these shoes fit perfectly and are extremely comfortable. Just wish I could get a red pair in my size!! Would definitely buy more of these. Having a small foot makes finding nice shoes difficult here in NZ, so I am very grateful for this service and being able to find shoes in my size. Thank you Teva and Thank You Amazon.

I'm incredibly disappointed. I just came back home from wearing these for the first time. The fit was perfect, but after only wearing them for 30 minutes or so the pain was real. That buckle thing on the toes hurt so much. It's not exactly the metal buckle part that hurts, it's the stitching on the straps around the buckle. Also, after a little more time, the stitching on the soles made their presence known. It hurt the bottom of my feet. After only wearing them for about 40minutes and driving in them for a half and hour, i'm a mess. I had to come back home. I bought the Teva Kayenta Dream Weave sandals and were amazed at how comfortable they were. I bought 2 more of them, then thought maybe i could even get something a little fancier from this brand and it would still be comfortable. Nope. These traveled all the way to Turkey for nothing. What a waste.Edit: Days later, the effects of this torture device still remain. Blisters not healed yet and the bottom of my feet are still sore. These were the most uncomfortable pair of shoes i have ever worn.

I am so disappointed by the Teva Wome's Venture Cork sandals that I purchased on Amazon. The sandals fell apart on the third time I wore them. It was very uncomfortable to start with but soon after side strips came off and the glue exposed, then one of the heels tore apart. I was out for a dinner and hugely embarrassed by this inconvenience.I would like to receive full refund including 20.35 GBP postal charge I paid for a return.Gul
