I'm so skeptical with black dyes. Which was why I held off covering my greys for a long time. It is extremely hard to get black dye right for Asian hair. Especially if you're naturally jet black. More western dyes are just so flat or have weird blue undertones that are completely unnatural. Also I didn't want to leave my hair lookin dry AND flat looking at the same time. I used this dye as a last resort and it was the best thing that has ever happen to me. No drying, no itching, no burning. The black looks so natural and looks exactly like what natural jet black Asian hair is supposed to look like without making it look flat. The dye was amazing and I feel so much more confident now.

Literally the best hair dye I've ever used. It covers your grays without dying your scalp and washes it so easily. I followed the instructions and only used half of the tube to color my entire head. I do have a pixie cut. The color stays and doesn't transfer onto clothes. Its the perfect natural black. Love it

Tired of "straw-dry" hair after coloring? I was really impressed with how moisturized and shiny this product leaves my hair. It's a natural black, with no blue or red undertone. It covers grey yet its appearance seems almost translucent. In other words, the coverage doesn't look thick, flat or too opaque. I like that Daeng Gi Meo Ri has no PPD nor ammonia. This has eliminated allergy-related sores on my neck and ears after coloring. Lastly, I really like the fact that this formula is comprised of 50% herbs. The result is similar to that of henna (with no red tone), BUT... Daeng Gi Meo Ri takes only 15 -45 minutes processing time. I'll be using this natural, herbal WINNER for a loooong time. Highly recommend.

This product must contain some type of chemicals similar to PPD and ammonia, because my skin test came out positive for allergy. I have a sensitive skin and picks up allergies when in contact with dyes containing PPD and ammonia.

I like this product because the black really looks like black Asian hair. it is shiny and did not make my hair feel like stiff or something considering that only shampoo is included in the kit. there is no conditioner. the shampoo has a pleasant smell. I like it.
