My Brest Friend Original Pillow- MIDNIGHT POPPY

I don't know how I went 2 weeks without this! It makes holding my baby so much easier while nursing. The pillow is super supportive and stays high up on my waist as long as I secure the belt tightly enough. A minor design flaw is the cheap clasp that closes the belt. It feels like really cheap, shallow plastic. You have to double check that the prongs properly snapped into place on both sides, otherwise the belt will pop open (which could cause injury). When the clasp closes, you have to watch your skin because it can pinch. The pillow itself is great, though. Worth the money.

This is the best thing to happen for breastfeeding for me! Wasn't sure I needed a nursing pillow at first but this changed my mind. I went with this because it's similar to the ones in the hospital that I saw. It provides such good back support which I desperately needed. Also great head support for the baby. This is good because it gives your arms and hands a rest. Great product, would recommend over other decorative pillows.

I was given a Boppy pillow as a baby gift and it is practically useless. This, however, is a game-changer. The boppy would slide away from me and baby would fall down between me and the pillow or roll backwards off it -- it was just as hard to hold the pillow in place as to just hold baby without it. This arrived today and I would give it 6 stars if I could! It is firm support that stays put - and since he is cluster feeding right now, it's nice that he can rest on it for the 15-minute breaks I am getting between nursing sessions. (photo evidence provided) Bonus: it works nicely as a lap tray for eating lunch on the sofa, so it will still be useful after baby is too big for it!! Like a lot of other reviewers mentioned - I did put the plastic cover on the foam under the fabric cover. I think that will work nicely but I'd like to have a waterproof liner made of PUL or similar so it would not make that plasticky noise. I haven't researched yet to see if that's available accessory. Two tiny drawbacks bring it back down from six to five stars: 1) It is not reversible so if you're a lefty like me that's a tiny disadvantage. Also makes it harder to support the football hold, which my boy prefers. 2) The fabric cover feels like it's made out of really cheap-o fabric. Still, even if I have to replace the cover in a month or two I will consider this product worth the cost.
