Truform 1783 from the Truform Lites series provides moderate graduated compression to help energize the legs and reduce discomfort. The 15-20 mmHg moderate compression level is great for leg fatigue and slight ankle, leg and foot swelling. They provide long-lasting support that appeals to today's active, fashion conscious woman and serve excellently as both business and casual wear. Truform stockings, socks, and pantyhose feature Graduated Compression Technology, which delivers a compressive action to the leg that is greatest at the ankle, then gradually decreases toward the heart. This graduated compression provides two primary benefits to the legs: increased pressure on tissues beneath the skin helps reduce and prevent swelling for the wearer, and the compression action helps control the size of the superficial veins that lie just beneath the skin; preventing the slowing of blood flow so it can flow more quickly up the leg and back toward the heart. They feature five intervals of therapeutic graduated compression, doctor-recommended to help relieve tired, heavy, and aching legs, aid in the treatment of spider veins, varicose veins, and swelling of the leg and feet; ideal when sitting or standing for long periods of time. We take the extra time and effort necessary to insure a therapeutically effective, comfortable fit. The combination of state-of-the-art materials and equipment, plus knitting know-how sets Truform apart from the crowd to make your legs look and feel great.

Excellent choice for travel
I travel frequently within US and to Europe. For years I have suffered of swollen feet on any flight longer than 3 hours. Few years ago I bought a pair of compression socks in France (Sigvaris brand, light compression) and it changed my life. I wish I started wearing them years ago.I bought 2 pairs of Truform, light and medium pressure. Medium, 15-20 mmHg is an excellent option for long flights. I wear them even during summer. 8-15 mmHg would also be good, but the lightest skin color is still too dark for me.It is important to follow instructions and buy proper size that fits not just your foot size, but ankle and calf circumference.I highly recommend them.

effective
I hurt my back and I've been standing at my desk at work now for weeks. My legs swell pretty badly if I don't wear support socks. With these, my legs are NORMAL when I get home! The only thing I don't like is the toe box is noticeably a different shade than the rest of the hose, and it comes up higher on my feet than some of my flats, so you can see where the nylon stops and the toe box begins when I have shoes on. Didn't stop me from buying a 2nd pair though.

Excelent compression
I bought these stockings to wear during a long flight to avoid swollen legs and feet. They helped a lot. They hold very good compression. I did not have problem with he size but my feet are lean and small so double check sizes

This Compression Stocking Fits Perfect
I am 5'2" (short) and if I get a S/M they come too far up my leg and then I have to turn the band down, which will then fit right under my knee, but is very uncomfortable. This fits perfect, not too difficult for me to put on, reinforced toe and heel. Love them and I am now ordering some in black.

My feet tend to really swell when I go on cruises,, due to too much salty diet and alcohol.. I bought these stockings and they worked well at keeping the swelling down.
