excellent blender. great range of power features and very powerful. it's also not too noisy. it comes with a couple of different compartments to use. but the best thing is the stainless steel main compartment which is so easy to clean. the blender doesn't slip thanks to the rubberised base. it's pricey, but well worth it.

This blender/grinder was to replace my old Philips equivalent of which the liquidiser jug bearings failed after decades of use. The motor (400W) is still fine and the grinder still functions.The new model is over-powered for what I need. I was surprised to find it described as the 'Indian' mixer/grinder. It is focused on grinding Indian spices and preparing chutneys along with purees and smoothies. The old model had a drip feeder for oil for making mayonnaise and similar dressings, but the new one did not. The key difference is that the old jug and grinder bowls were plastic and screwed or locked into place. The three, new-model bowls are stainless steel and the lids are held in place by very effective 'rubber' seals, I could just make out instructions moulded into the plastic lid material. The instructions were to hold the lids firmly in place during operation. On the highest power, all three lids are shaken loose. No mention was made of this in the instructions. This would be a challenge if one was using the 25min maximum duration.The lids have a small hole in the centre to allow the lids to be pushed into place without pressurising the bowl. Mixing smoothies means that some of the smoothie is pushed out of this hole by the power of the motor. It's not a problem as the lids are dished and the liquid stays in the depression.I use the smallest 'chutney' bowl for grinding. As with the old model, the internal screw fixings collect the ground material. This really needs a small brush to make sure old spices do not mix with the latest grind.Although the instructions do not make it clear, the two smaller 'dry' bowls/jugs can be used to grind coffee. The 'Pulse' control allows the correct grind for filters or cafetieres.I'm hoping that the motor will become more even and vibrate less over time which might remove the need to press on the lids. It is over-powered for my needs, but I am glad I chose another Philips model.

I'm using this daily and for the past 2 years, fantastic, metal stuff that I wanted badly, powerful motor, no hiccups, easy to use. we are cooking traditional Asian food and this is the secret to great recipes.

I purchased 2 times this product. As an indian mixer grinder is very important in my kitchen. Both times, the large jar's lid has broken after multiple use. So its better if the company could provide jars with strong materials, like the lid of other jars. But in uk, i don't have much options so i bought second time as well

Looks really nice, conveniently sized jars & motor, functions well & also goes well with any kitchen style..

I’m totally disappointed. Despite several request attempts the company is unable to provide me with a jar. Even when I was willing to pay for the replacement jar as the first one broke, the company is unable to supply me with one. I understand this supplier neither can serve you when you have faulty product nor replace the product or accessories as they don’t have one.On the other hand, I liked this product. I used it for two years. If the company could send me the additional jar, I will be glad and am willing to pay for it.

An added universal adapter- The two pin plug was trimmed to be adjusted with the adapter- It's not worth for the money quality of the product is not up to the Mark- The Price is 3 times more than the original Indian pricePros -Nothing wrong with the Item works fine
