Great Cheap Extruder, but not perfect
I am on my second one now, but it does work and it is cheap. It has also been running for 3 months at about 16hrs a day. It works great! It does have some flaws and I wish I would have found the root cause before installing the new one.Adding the spacer does help and I recommend... if you haven't read that in any other post (pointed out in one of the pics). The shaft that the bearings ride on wear down and could probably use a little oil. Also the tiny bearing on either side. All the bearing ended up seizing due to the amount of metal dust that was created. After taking it completely apart and cleaning, I oiled all bearings and put it back together. I'll keep it as a spare, cause everything works again and rolls smoothly.I'll more than likely take my printer down again and oil the new one to see if I can get a longer life out of it. Mounted on a Sovol SV01 Original, but I had to drill a hole in the bracket for the adjustment screw. Works great!

Completely transformed my 3d printer!
The media could not be loaded. I went from not being able to print the first few layers in flexible filament (TPU) to printing some well detailed flexible 3d prints on a bowden tube 3d printer! This extruder literally made my overall print quality 10 times better!Although this is supposed to be a copy of a more expensive extruder, I do have the Bondtech BMG extruder on some of my other printers; I found little to no difference between the two, and those extruder is a quarter of the price of the Bondtech extruder. I actually prefer prints coming from this extruder! Also, for the setup, it was pretty simple, just take out the old extruder and screw the new one in, then tinker and adjust the multiplier and such. On a second note, you could actually install it facing in either direction (obviously depending on the wiring of your stepper motor); one direction will feed while the other will retract depending on the installation as the gears will be reversed. So if your printer starts retracting instead of feeding in filament, and you don't feel comfortable with messing with the stepper motor wiring, you can just install the extruder the opposite way and problem fixed!Overall, This from now on will be my go to when it comes to upgrading 3d printers extruders. I definitely recommend this extruder due to the great functionality and insanely cheap price!

It works, pretty much.
I have an Anycubic Vyper and this fits well as a replacement. My one gripe is that it does not have a brass fitting on the output of the extruder. It has an internal grip (looks kinda like a thin lock washer) that holds the Bowden tube in place. If you need to remove the tube, you risk damaging the mechanism and making the extruder unusable. At least how that looks to me unless anyone can tell me different.First print looks good so we'll see how long it lasts.

Great product at less than 20 dollars.
Really really solid product. The parts will NOT fit a real BMG extruder, but as long as you arent buying it for parts youll be very happy with this. I no longer get clogs from my heatbreak cooling down my filament when it retracts too far. Infact i never get clogs period, this forces them out. I was also able to minimize stringing and use higher retraction settings with this extruder. I use direct drive though so my retraction settings are still pretty low. This extruder plus direct drive should be your 1st two upgrades to any ender 3 or ender 3 clone IMO. If price goes above 25 dollars though I strongly reccomend buying from a different supplier. People need to stop letting amazon sellers price gouge their buyers. The WHOLE point of cloned parts is to save money, so if the price goes above 25 dollars please ignore my review and buy elsewhere. This product will always be available for under 25 dollars from somewhere. The same goes for direct drive brackets.

Very impressed after some tinkering
You need to add a small washer to the bottom of the gear on the arm that swings open to confine it or it pops out when print fast with enclosure. This resulted in 2 failed prints, both close to an hour and a half to two hours in. I was printing with a .8 nozzle so it wasted quite a bit of filament in that time. If you add a tiny washer so there is no play in the gear on the arm that opens it will not happen again. Put 100s of hours on this since and it has performed flawlessly. In fact, I had a spool with an overlap that locked up and when I walked in the extruded was picking the printer up and smacking it against the roof of the lack enclosure. It was pretty impressive. This things kicks ass if you fix that one small issue. When this one wears out, I will buy another. A 20 cent washer is all the difference needed for this to perform like an $80 bmg.

Works well for the ender
Perfect replacement extruder on the ender. Easy install and great out of the box performance
