I was expecting a better quality at that price level

Great quality.

After noticing how good my XL waffle weave drying towel was on glass, I decided to pick up some dedicated smaller waffle weaves specifically for glass. They are great! One tip I do recommend - if you decide to tackle particularly dirty exterior glass - is to use a separate towel you don't much care for first to remove the dirt, then finish/buff with the waffle weave. This way your waffle weave towels don't get clogged up with dirt, and will stay fresh and be able to finish your glass perfectly clear for years. Say for example you cleaned the interior without washing the exterior, but you wanted your glass to be clean both inside and out; that would be a case when you should use a different towel to remove the dirt and then finish with the waffle weaves. I hope this helps!

I use these to clean the glass of the car. The wash easy and dry easy. It may still lint a bit. Less one star for that reason.
