A diferencia del modelo de color blanco, este dispositivo es compatible con los motores que traen botón de aprendizaje color amarillo. La instalación fue sencilla y no me llevó mas de 30 minutos. El instructivo dice que el modulo se instale alejado de cosas metálicas, sin embargo lo instalé en la misma estructura que sostiene al motor y funcionó sin problemas. Por otro lado, el sensor de posición lo atornille en el panel superior del portón y la instalación fue sencilla. Una vez que el usuario principal configura su perfil en la aplicación, se pueden agregar accesos adicionales en forma de copropietarios (pareja, hijos) o usuarios temporales.

My biggest fear with this unit would be its connectivity to Wifi from my house. Our garage is a good 50 feet away from our house, but this still easily connects and never skips a beat. Now, when we forget to close our garage door at the end of the day, we have a way to double check without trudging back out in the snow!

I recently purchased the smart hub and decided to also get the garage camera. Both products were very easy to set up and the subscription service is optional. Only if you want to record and back back up. I didn't opt in for that since I only wanted the live view. Picture quality is great and even has night mode. What stands out to me the most is the magnetic for easy mounting. Definitely recommended as a great camera overall not just for the garage. If you have alot of metal around then this is the camera will benefit hugely from that since you can become creative on where you want to place it.
