It would have been good to have had an option to recharge via USB, rather than just batteries that are taken in and out. Appears to do as it says but have not tested yet.

Definitely good for the price! Fan more powerful than I expected, which is good! Will use it properly in 4 weeks at a festival but I think this will definitely help with that heavy heat inside the tent on a sunny morning and throughout the day. Even tempted to put it to use at home as it seems powerful enough. It takes 2 D batteries. I got Duracell so we'll see how quickly it runs through those. Will update review, if necessary, after testing it out properly.

I think this fan is good, depending on your expectations. On a super hot camping night, I would want two, maybe even three of them. The light is bright, and very nice. The fan, if you’re wanting to feel it on you, is not that effective. But it depends on how far away it is from you. It is great for circulating the air around. I probably would never use the “low” setting, unless it was a cool night and I wanted the air circulation. We have an 8 person tent, and the “high” setting isn’t strong enough for us. We usually camp in warmer weather, so we probably would need 3 set at different corners of the tent. It does take 2 D batteries, which I like, because you don’t have to carry a hundred extra batteries with you. (We have another fan that takes 8 batteries, with the option of an adapter with electricity, and the fan power is definitely higher, but you have to buy a TON of extra batteries) I gave it five stars, because it is exactly as described. For fall and spring camping, I think would be perfect. It is adjustable, but the hook is fixed, so you cannot swivel it around. It adjusts forward and backwards, but not full circle. The light can be used as a stand too, so you can use it on a table. Like I said, it depends on your expectations and wants.
