Heavy balls make me feel so special. I haven't weighed it to make sure the number is accurate. But it's a nice ball!! It works like a medicine ball should. Unless you want to play basketball with it - then it might not work so well. It's great. It does make a loud noise when you slam in on the ground, the way they do in those exercise shows, but that's mostly because it's a heavy ball and you are throwing it to the ground without the benefit of television audio editing equipment. Great Ball, Good Price - but I really should spend less time surfing Lightning deals on Amazon.
