I actually LOVE these hair ties. I'm an ex- level 10 gymnast so i have spent some quality time with hair ties in my life but now I'm a mom of a toddler so having your hair out of the way is as important as it was in my youth. I have a lot of fine soft hair so it breaks easily and if there's room to slip out it does. Here are the pros: None if the other no break hair ties actually keep my hair up, i have to redo my hair constantly. These not only don't break but actually hold which is incredible. I got up in the morning after a long night with a teething kiddo and not a single hair was wrapped around the hair tie and my hair was still up! Another thing i like is, having fine hair, it usually takes 4 hair ties to get a nice high pony with volumn but these are thick and do that in one tie. I also always have a hair tie on my wrist if not in my hair and these don't cut off circulation which I'm a fan of. I also hate the look of the new oldschool telephone cord looking (plastic) hair ties that I'm sure are awful for the environment. Those things are so tacky. These are more of a cross between scrunchy and hair tie look and not that it matters to me in my 30's, but i hear scrunchies are popular again! Old telephone cords in your hair wasnt in style in the 90's and isn't now so..... Cons: They are so stinking expensive. 5 times what the other hair ties cost. I've been using the same one for two weeks trying to not even take another out of the package and it's starting to look worn, though not stretched out at least. I guess we will have to see if the durability is worth the cost. Im glad i bought one package but hopefully the price goes down so i can justify buying more. The price is ridiculous BUT they hold my hair so well. I bought the blonde ones for my daughter. Her hair is ALWAYS in her face no matter how many hair ties, bobby pins, and hair spray. She can whip her hair around and NONE falls out. Do buy. Just steep for hair ties.

I never write reviews but this product is so fantastic that I cannot help myself. I have long thick hair (about 1 yard long) that consistently thwarts hair ties. I have tried everything. Normal hair ties from the drug store will snap in one use because they just can't handle my hair. Other seamless hair ties will get so stretched out in a week and I lose them everywhere because they will never stay on my wrist. But the thick GIMME Bands no break hair ties have withstood all my tests. I have been using the same one for about two weeks now, running, swimming, walking, and my everyday activities around the house and it is as perfect as it was the first day I put it on my wrist. The thickness is perfect because it distributes the weight of my hair and doesn't act like a tourniquet (like all other hair ties I have tried) and does not cause my buns to fall off the top of my head. I have noticed that the band will get a little stretched out right after I take it out of my hair but then I wear it on my wrist while I take my shower and it shrinks back to its normal size. It looks brand new and it has been used every single day for multiple hours. It has also performed really well for being in chlorine water for at least 3 hours each week. I am currently trying to restrain myself from buying all the bands and scrunchies and I think I will cave soon and buy about $100 worth of stuff because wow they are so amazing.
