Minn Kota Endura C2 Endura C2 55 Trolling Motor

This is my first review of many items purchased. I bought the C2 55 trolling motor to power my 14 foot Blue Fin aluminum boat. I live on a 400 acre lake in Michigan and use the boat to fish and motor over to a nice swimming spot on the other side of the lake,about a mile away.. The C255 replaced a balky, unreliable 15 horse Evinrude. The C2 55 pushes the boat between 3.5 and 5 knots at speed level 5. It runs smoothly and very quietly. I installed a deep cycle battery which has powered the boat two complete trips across the lake before needing a charge. So far everything about the motor is perfect; yes, when the Evinrude ran it pushed the boat at about 10 knots but what could be nicer than a quiet trip at 5 knots without messing with a engine that sometimes started and sometimes didn't. Now, all I do is lower the motor and click the handle to Forward and I'm off.

Minnekota always stands up to its quality! Love this trolling motor. It scoots the 16ft boat smoothly across any lake so far.

Liked the light weight. It had good power. I had it hooked up to a 12 volt lithium battery. I used it for 5 hours. The voltage was not even touched. Cuts through the water nicely. This company makes great trolling motors.

I’ma fly fisherman with an old boat left to me from my father. The old motor was crazy loud & smoked like an old woman at a casino. This electric motor allows me to get to the middle of the lake silently.

Had trouble with the speed switch burning up two or three times. Kept having it replaced.
