Confirm it is top rack dishwasher safe. The latches do take up a little extra space, but this is a difficult size to find at a good price. One latch came apart during shipping, but snapped back together easily. The latches do not slide around on their own & provide a good seal. They can be stacked but do not nest together, if space is an issue.

Update: I recommend using a permanent marker on the lid and put on a arrow to show which direction to push the sliders. I had an aid who takes care of my parents think they snap up and she slightly damaged the clips. The lid itself isn't super clear. A blue purple permanent marker took care of it. Just put an arrow in the direction you want the clip slid and then it's easy for someone who doesn't know how to open it. It turns out the five cup size has become my favorite for freezing dog food. These work great in the freezer. We've had them over a year and they are really nice. If you need something to freeze food and defrost in the microwave, this does the trick. Be sure to measure this out in height before buying it. The tallest one is really, really tall. I ended up preferring the one that was about 12.5 cups. The quality is great! I liked the push snap to lock it. Once you move the clips to the right position it does take a little bit to pop it up because it really suctions. FYI as I saw someone who returned these because they couldn't figure them out - To open these you slide the clips. There are little rubber things that are exposed when the air releases. They are SUPER easy to open once you figure that out. If you don't see two little black tubes sticking out of the lid, it's locked and the sliding clips are probably covering them. Slide the clips to the opposite position, the tubes will be visible, and the air releases then you just pull the lid off at that point. The clips create a suction once you slip them over the tubes. They really are easy to open once you figure it out.

This containers are great! They allow your veggies and fruit to last longer. I love them.

I bought these for my wife for Christmas. She wanted something she could put food in when we take it up to my mothers for family dinner, etc. that could also be heated in the microwave or put in the fridge. These are quite sturdy, although one did arrive with the latch broken.. We contacted the seller and they sent out a replacement right away. They work well for what they're intended for. They have a sliding lock that keeps the lid on tight and also seals the little vent on each side of the lid. One irritation with them is that the latches stick out about 3/4 inch on each side, so it takes up quite a bit of room... if the latches were flush with the sides instead of at right angles it would save some space. The other bigger irritation is that the seal on the lid is a lip-type seal, instead of a round closed seal. This means you have to take extra time to ensure you clean thoroughly under the seal when you wash it... the dishwasher won't reach it, so it has to be done by hand. All in all though, they're a decent product, and the customer service was excellent.

I know its not its intended purpose, but this container fits an Elegoo Staurn Ultra 16k build plate perfectly! We keep it half filled with alcohol and dip the build plate in it to rinse the resin off. The seal is strong and keeps the alcohol from evaporating.

Fits a whole big constrained of oxi clean!! And keeps it fresh!

Perfect for storing flour in the refrigerator. Fits on the door shelf!

Bought this late December 2024 and just started using it due to additional stock that needs humidification. I read reviews about people having issues with the sliding locks, so I was extra careful to slide each clip in the direction indicated on the attached label. After sliding the locks over I went to separate the lid, and I heard a loud snap as one of the locks snapped in two. So now I have a container with only one good lock. I'm terribly disappointed because the seal seemed to be very tight. However, the latching system was either faulty or poorly designed to break so easily especially after paying close attention to opening instructions. I would NOT RECOMMEND this product at this time due to faulty latch quality. These containers are fairly expensive and due to the broken latch, I have to rate it ONE STAR.

It's a bit stupid when you think about it. Why design clips that are different from everything else on the market that basically do the same Job? The plastic is nice and clear but breakable and I don't fancy putting this in a dish washer or the microwave but you can, but I wouldn't.

I love the leakproof and locking mechanism.
