When we first received the shipment, it was clear the shipping carrier did not take care of it. The frame to the sofa was cracked and the loveseat had a hole in the arm.I contacted the seller and they were quick to send me an entirely new sofa and loveseat as replacement so I was very pleased with that.I am giving 4 stars because for the price I wasn't expecting quality furniture at all. You're definitely getting what you pay for but at the same time the seller came through to make sure I was satisfied.I bought these as placeholders until I save up money for more quality long term pieces.I would recommend this set for a first time apartment owner or young adult. Sturdy enough to handle minor usage but not a long term solution or a family couch set.Additionally, it has its quirks, if you lean too hard on the arm using your elbow it will crack the arm rest. The decorative metal pins in the sides came dented in on some spots like someone literally smacked them in with a hammer. They also were not aligned and crooked.The back piece to the loveseat occasionally pops off because the latches weren't aligned properly.It is very easy to assemble though.
