All I know is that eating the "approved" way for all these years, I'm overweight, with high blood pressure and likely pre-diabetic as well (just ordered blood glucose testing stuff to figure that out). So, I'm trying keto. Did a three day water fast, then restocked all the cupboards and the fridge and freezer with keto stuff, and jumped on the keto train. Seven days later, keto strips tell me I'm in ketosis, since beginning this (no cheats, staying under 20 carbs a day, no sugar, and, wow, really, living on incredibly delicious high fat foods???) and have already lost a bit of weight and scale keeps creeping down, and BP is down some as well, so this seems a path to stick to and see what happens. While a lot of info says one thing or another, one thing that seems consistent about keto, however, is to have some kind of MCT in the diet. Since I've read alarming accounts of MCT oil giving unpleasantly explosive results (and I tend to have a finicky gut) I decided to try this powder. It's a bit pricey, yes, but you can also order from their site, and it seems various users of the product give a discount code, if you look for keto folks on youtube, for example. Frankly, keto eating in general is pricey -- heavy cream, eggs, bacon, meats, butter, specialty flours and ingredients, steady veggies, and, how sad that eating unhealthy is ultra affordable, but eating to live is not. Crazy. Anyway, upon opening this, I thought I had opened up a birthday cake! Smells divine. Tried a little, raw, and good grief this tastes soooooooooooooo GOOD. Unreal. I already set about to create a keto smoothie recipe -- almond milk, coconut milk, heavy cream, a scant amount of frozen berries (low carb) and water, and a scoop of this magic stuff, plus some zero carb protein powder and psyllium husk powder (for fiber) and oh my, my, it is delicious! Oh, and ZERO digestive issues, and definitely makes me feel satisfied, full and peppy. Imagine a diet where you love the food! So, this is a BIG win for me, and I will try the chocolate next. I whip this up in a blender, no lumps or separation at all. Blends smoothly and, for me, all health benefits aside, the fact that it tastes so good is a big plus, especially since I thought I'd be giving up all the tasty carbs I've loved for so long, and, as we know, if we hate what we eat, it's hard to stick to any diet plan. So, bring on the keto! I'm all in! Review: Vanilla flavor is way too sweet for me - Vanilla is a little too sweet for me (I bought vanilla instead of unflavored), but very creamy and blends well. Good for keto / low carb.

INSANELY DELICIOUS!
So, I'm brand new to this keto thing, and wow, what a maze to try to sort through all of the information about it, much of which seems almost conflicting, not to mention the status quo "health" industry seems to think it's a terrible idea. Vanilla flavor is way too sweet for me
Vanilla is a little too sweet for me (I bought vanilla instead of unflavored), but very creamy and blends well. Good for keto / low carb.

Great KETO drink
chocolate flavored MCT powder is delicious-add hot water and drink alone or with some Colostrum to boost the health benefits. Not coffee drinker but it would be a good add to that if on Keto.

Good but ultra sweet
So sweet. I have to spread out one serving over multiple cups of plain coffee or it's way too sweet. The flavor is good otherwise and it blends well.

I prefer this
I've been testing this and the stuff from the Quest guys. If you care a lot about quality (which I do), this product wins hands down. When compared to Quest MCT, I'd break it down like this: PROS - This blends really nicely in smoothies and morning coffee, without a strong taste. Quest has a bit more of an aftertaste. - Digestive ease. WOW was this easier on the stomach than straight MCT oil. I used to drink bulletproof coffee (grass-fed butter + MCT oil) every morning but had to stop because I was getting GI distress while driving to work. Not fun, and narrowly avoided getting pulled over a few times in the race to the exit. I switched from MCT oil to this MCT powder and it's a gamechanger - no GI distress so far. - Kept me in ketosis after measuring my blood ketone levels. - Love that they have 1 ingredient in the entire product, and that their MCT oil powder is from organic coconuts. CONS - Frankly, this product is more expensive than the Quest product. Yes, I know they don't use fillers in the product (the ingredient label has only 1 ingredient, unlike Quest) but I'd imagine some people are a bit more budget-conscious. For me, I'm worried about the blood sugar impact of the fillers (like corn startch) so will probably keep buying this brand. - The scoop spoon is a little too small to fit conveniently in the bottle. Overall, great product and I'll definitely buy again. To me, the slight premium is worth it for the organic sourcing and no additives, especially when I'm trying to stay in ketosis.

Highly recommended over other powders
Am I allowed to compare it to other oils I've used? Before I used the MCT Oil and added Fiber to my coffee. I still do add the flavorless liquid to get my macros correct on meals. A friend of mine tried this when he tried Keto and it didn't work for him so it gave me his leftover Vanilla Flavor. I was happy to take it off his hands. Then I tried it and I was blown away by how much the flavor of my coffee was enhanced. Always short for time the powder and instant coffee makes a quick mix I can take with me anywhere. The flavor is outstanding, the mixing is wonderful, and the fiber included makes it easy to stomach. I have a stomach that seems prone to flip out at the smallest provocation and this stuff doesn't bother it at all. So I ran out of the half jar of vanilla and had to reorder. I was shocked at the price compared to the flavorless stuff, but it worked, it worked well, it tasted amazing and it keeps my macros in check. If you miss sweeter things this is the one to use. I mix 2 scoops with 2 heaping tablespoons of instant coffee every morning and it keeps me going. I haven't tried them all, I found one that works and despite being expensive I'm going to stick with it. It allows me to avoid eating during the day on a single cup of coffee with this mixed in and the energy is wonderful. Been doing Keto cycling 3 months at a time, but this is the stuff that finally made it possible for me to avoid eating until I get home. 4 scoops total, 300 calories, keeps me happy till a single meal and a snack at night. Buy it now. The flavor tastes like a salted caramel bar. The flavors are ACCURATE that's the best part. Buy now.

This one is terrible 😞
I had high hopes for this Cinnamon Toast flavor, as I have tried the chocolate and vanilla flavors, with great results. This Cinnamon toast, however, is TERRIBLE! I use my MCT in my morning coffee, and as I do every morning, I drew fresh filtered water into my kettle for the boil, freshly ground my coffee, and made my pour over. I mixed the mct with a little freshly drawn cold water, and proceeded with my brew. Coffee's ready, give it a stir, add a little cream. The cinnamon smelled good, if a little plastic-y, take the first sip, and it tastes like vomit! I checked the cream, and it was fine. And before anyone tells me maybe I don't like cinnamon, I LOVE the spice, and often add a few sprinkles to my chocolate mct for a little Mexican choccy kick! This was so bad, I had to dump it and start fresh from scratch. I was going to return this, and just get a fresh container of my standby flavor, vanilla, just to learn it is non-returnable. I'm extremely disappointed, as I live on a tight budget, and will now have to wait two weeks to place a new order, thus running out of my MCT. Buyer beware!
