DB Electrical 231-14012 External Regulator Compatible with/Replacement for Ford 2N 8N 9N Tractor / 6 Volt Positive Ground A-Circuit 3-Terminal Bat-Arm-Fld 10-12 Amp / 8N-10505C, GR276

The regulator arrived quickly and appears to be a direct replacement to the original. After polarizing it, it regulated like it was suppose to. The old regulator was always at full charge. The only difference between the old and the new was that the old regulator had rubber vibration mounts while the new one did not. I may use grommets to provide vibration isolation.

Installed on tractor worked for less than two weeks. Now dB says I have to deal with Amazon for warranty and Amazon doesn't even give the option to warranty. Says it's past its return date and they won't respond to any of the emails I have sent. Horrible service on Amazon's part for this one

Recieved this part, it had a faulty field. Eventually found out that this was the problem and the field wasn't working. The seller refunded the product. The second one worked well.

Failed right out of the box. Not surprising since I've seen nothing but negative reviews on all voltage regulators made these days regardless of manufacturer. I found NOS-MADE IN USA and it works great

I ended up buying another regulator to get the adapter plate.

It doesn't work should have returned it .
