Pet Dog Self Cooling Mat Pad for Kennels, Crates and Beds 19 X 35

My 12 week old Goldador has been using this now for 2 weeks. It's honestly been a godsend having this cooling mat for her in her kennel while she is being crate trained. She tends to run really hot and living here in Texas doesnt help matters any, especially now that the full wrath of summer is upon us. She initially was not very keen on even going in the kennel, let alone being locked up in it, but as soon as she felt the mat she went right in and laid down. I have not had any issues with her wanting to be in the kennel now that she has this. She even puts herself in the kennel after playing when she gets too hot. The mat itself is pretty heavy duty. We have the 36x24x27 size kennel and we chose the larger mat even though it's a bit bigger. We have it folded in half in there for her right now. It doesn't slide around even given the fact that she moves around a lot. I will say you do need to keep an eye on the corners of the mat if you have a dog/pup that likes to chew. She hasn't directly started chewing the mat, but she did catch a corner of it while she was chewing one of her bully sticks, which did damage the mat slightly. So far none of the cooling gel has really leaked out, but it's definitely something I'm keeping watch of. Otherwise this thing is great! It's also very easy to clean. She had an upset tummy and I didnt get her out soon enough, so she left me a nice hefty mushy poo to clean up. It wiped right off, no scrubbing, no staining, no leftover smell. Cleaned up easily with paper towels and a quick spritz of some odoban. If you have a dog/puppy that runs really hot, or you live in a hotter climate I would certainly suggest buying one of these. It has honestly made crate training a lot easier and my pup is definitely more comfortable.

Our 🐕 Luke took to this mat in less than 10 minutes time. We got the XL mat because he is medium in height, but hefty.. around 75 lbs. Our room in the house is particularly warmer than any other room. So even when we may be cool, he will be panting and he will tear through any bed/mat to get to the plastic bottom of the crate to lay on it because it's cooler. So I've always been scrambling trying to figure out ways to keep our dogs cool. We also have a great Pyrenees mix breed senior female dog in another room in our house, unfortunately there is no fan in that room. So, also looking for ways to cool her because she will often lay in the middle of the room on the hard wood floor to cool off. As I opened the box to this cooling mat and opened it and put it in the floor, it was already super cool and felt really nice on my feet immediately. Luke comes over, give it a sniff, and then stands on it. I walk off, he lays down.. and he hasn't moved since! He's in love! I bought Marcy a different cooling mat just to kind of compare. There is truly no comparison. Spend the money people!!! IT'S SO WORTH IT! I predict this cooling mat lasting several years. The fabric is kind of similar to the fabric in gyms on the big plastic bouncy things you can jump on lol! It's so awesome! Waterproof, scratch proof, smell proof, tear proof, no batteries, no charger, no water, non toxic, cools 3 hours on end. What else can you ask for??! I will be buying another one for Marcy!!!

I love these gel filled cool beds, I’ve purchased several different brands over the years. I bought one of the 19x35 (from a different seller) 2 years ago. It was so great at keeping my dog cool, I ordered the 31x37 a few months later. LOVE THE BEDS. I’ve tried every type of cool bed/blanket and the gel filled ones are by far the best and stay cool for hours. Unfortunately they don't last, and one of the reasons is they can’t get wet. When they do the gel starts to break down into clumps. I try to only wipe them down with a damp cloth when I absolutely have to. I needed to replace the smaller one this summer, but could only find one seller on amazon that had them (-SkyMall-) and they only had them as “used - very good” which I presumed meant someone had bought it, tried it and returned it. It was only $10 off the original price so I figured it couldn't be damaged. The bed I received has clearly had dirty water leaking on it, probably from wherever it was stored as it was still folded carefully in its unopened box. The bed has already been kept with dirty wet tissue paper on it, so the gross paper has stuck to the surface and needs to be scrubbed off. I have no idea where the water came from so I would need to disinfect it to be safe, and the gel has started breaking down. So if I clean it as thoroughly as it needs, the gel will break down even more, meaning it will probably be unusable in a few months. The photos don’t really convey how dirty and unusable the bed is, but if you're thinking about buying one from -SkyMall- I recommend you find a better seller and save yourself the hassle of having to return the item. The beds are great, but this seller has the nerve to offer $10 off for an item that is unusable.

My 7 month puppy chewed through the corner in less than 2 mins and it started leaking immediately.

This is the second time that I have ordered this mat, because it does the job. My very furry doodle runs hot, so this is always his go-to for cooling down. (Especially after I put in the fridge for 10-20 minutes) I put the first mat on his bed, and the second one travels with him. (Rec Room, kitchen, backyard...) Good quality, Portable and Easy to Clean.. Like I said...It does the job and it does it well. Just ask my dog!

It gets quite hot in Australia, got this for my cat so he can lay on it when he’s hot, it’s cool to the touch and stays cool for quiet awhile not sure if it actually stays cool for 3 hours but definately still cool after an hour of sitting on it.

First time using the mat was on a very hot day while driving for 1 1/2 hrs on vacation. Had placed it on rear car seat for my dog. We keep her nails well trimmed. At destination was shocked to see a substantial amount of the fluid had leaked onto my car seat. 4 holes. Had seat professionally cleaned. Really disappointed.
