Limonata, Italian Sparkling Lemonade, 11.2 Oz. Cans (Pack of 24)

First, if you like Orangina, you'll LOVE this stuff. Orangina is ok and the little glass bottles are cool, but it's hard to find, expensive, and it has too much grapefruit flavor for me. This orangeade is, without a doubt, 5-star amazing. It's lightly carbonated, so it's chuggable. It literally tastes like you put a little sparkling water in fresh-squeezed OJ. I can't wait to try it with ice when it's summer and 90 degrees outside. It's about $1.65 USD per can. To me, that's not "expensive". Good things cost a little money. If consumers want orange kool-aid prices, they'll get orange kool-aid flavor. This is NOT a kool-aid experience. This is a delectable orange nectar. I haven't tried it in cocktails yet, but I'm sure adding a little Bombay Sapphire gin (gin & juice) or a smooth, ice cold vodka (screwdriver) will be totally amazing. Maybe a little too delicious!! If you use this for cocktails be careful how many you drink, and how fast. This stuff goes down super smooth and easy, and I have to stop myself from drinking 3-4 at a time, haha. I'm so happy I found this stuff, I wish i could find it in a local store but until then amazon is keeping me well-stocked :)

The beverage is very good, I will probably buy again. The packaging on the other hand has a few issues, my last two orders have had a a can or two broken open and the drink soaked everything around it, ruining all the packaging and getting all the other cans sticky. Given the price of the drinks and the fact that Amazon usually does a good job of packaging it seems that they would be packaged better.

Before you skip through my review, please read this: I have found lemon soda to be best served cold (already refrigerated) and over ice. If you ask for a lemon soda at a restaurant in Italy, it is typically served with a glass to pour the can into. While I only had them served over ice at the restaurants in the more touristy areas, as an American, that was definitely my preference. You're buying 24 cans - at least try it per my suggestion once. =D Typical review stuff: Same manufacturer and drink as I had in Italy! They're not the cheapest, but they're awesome! Since it's pretty much just carbonated lemonade, it's still fine to drink when it's flat and/or room temperature. It's also convenient that they're shipped as 6 packs of 4. It makes it easy to grab a pack and put it in the fridge or toss in the car for a road trip.
