Zitner's Peanut Butter Chocolate Covered Eggs, 9 oz

Zitner's offers some really great confections. I would pick up their other eggs when stopping for gas, since those are individually wrapped items... But the peanut butter eggs come in a plastic tray and aren't sold individually. So they are a bit more challenging to find, but very well worth it. The peanut butter is very creamy and sweet, and the chocolate coating has a nice crunch to it. I definitely prefer them more than the Reese's eggs this time of year. The only downside is that they sometimes don't take to the shipping very well, especially if there's a bit of heat or they sit out in the sun on the porch. But a half hour or so in the refrigerator can take care of that. They might not be as pretty as when first packaged, but still just as tasty!

I've always liked Zintner candy because of their good ingrediations and great taste and so I ordered more to put in my grandchildrens easter basket. I got the product delivered yesterday 02/27/2024 and when I opened the package the candy was melted and smashed. It was really bad. I spent $19.00 for garbage. I will never order this candy again. Don’t order these in warmer times, they come melted every time. Wish they would add a cold pack

These are amazing!! The peanut butter is so delicious. It’s so much better than that artificial Reese’s peanut butter. The only thing is they are not egg shape they are rectangle shape. Which doesn’t bother me but if you were looking for eggs these aren’t it.

I love this product. The way it was packaged was not smart. Every single egg was smashed. They were not in individual tray slots like in the picture. Each egg was in a little plastic bag and all of them were rolling around together so when they showed up there wasn't 1 egg that was solid. I made this purchase to give as a gift to someone that lives in Ireland now but grew up on this candy. Needless to say I didn't give them as a gift but instead put them out at my office for anyone to eat. Next time I make this purchase I will wait until they are available in the local stores and not have them shipped.

These Easter eggs were delivered directly into my parents' hands by the driver, walking directly from the truck. They did not sit outside in the sun or heat. Yet, they were completely melted. My parents described them as delicious but liquid (maybe good for ice cream sauce). I have purchased Zitner's products in the past, and later in the same week received the coconut eggs in perfect condition, so I know they are good. This particular package was not well maintained.

This is a great candy, especially for those who enjoy peanut butter and chocolate candy. It is not as sweet as some, but I think that makes it all the better. If available all the time, I would choose these over the competition.
