Raw power
This filter unleashed the raw fury of my hybrid Saturn vue. The unbridled race-inspired white knuckle driving experience is enhanced beyond words.Ok... So maybe it just fit and works and my fuel economy is where it should be etc but a man can dream.

Significantly inferior to OEM
I ordered this filter for my Mitsubishi SUV. Being BOSCH I expected it to meet or exceed OEM spec, but this filter has only 26 folds/channels whereas the OEM has 35. Also, the Bosch has no center support whereas the OEM has a glue that keeps the channels spaced out perfectly and would keep them from collapsing etc. Overall I'm very disappointed. Next time I'll buy OEM or search for an aftermarket brand of higher quality.

Doesn't fit Prius 2016
Doesn't fit my 2016 Prius, even though the configurator says it does. This is the second MFG I've tried, same problem. The cabin filter for my 2016 Prius inserts into a plastic tray that holds the filter in place and when the tray is inserted into the slot, it holds the filter up against the intake. The tray has to be used, no way around that. The filter has the correct dimensions, but the pleated edge is supposed to be the short side, the fabric rub strips are supposed to be on the long side. This filter is reversed. Normally the pleats can be pulled back to insert the filter into the frame. Since they are on the wrong side, it doesn't work. It's just not right, but it is odd that both MFG I've tried have the same mistake. But it is clearly a no fit. I thought maybe it doesn't need the frame, but that doesn't work. And if you try to cram it into the frame oriented in the only way it can fit, it buckles the edges and that's no good.

good value, good filter
Mine fit neatly in my 2012 Dodge Journey. Obviously flows much better than the old filter and still good after 5000 miles. Construction appears good, and the two layer element keeps most everything out of the cabin, especially gravel dust.I purchased my filter at the same time frame as the individual who had poor luck fitting it in a Jeep Compass. Sometimes leaves, pine needles or even a mouse nest can get stuck on the dirty side of the filter. When you remove the old filter the debris can fall in the filter track and prevent the new filter from installing correctly. Check your filter housing with a flashlight and vacuum before inserting new filter. Something to keep in mind.

Don't procrastinate!! Change it out!!!
I had completely forgotten about changing this filter as a part of regular maintenance. NOT GOOD. The old one looked like it had been working in a coal mine. I had an instant improvement in defroster function and heat flow which is no surprise at all. The worst part of changing this out in a 2nd Generation Odyssey is reinstalling (getting them started) the 2 small bolts that hold the metal strut in place, the ones tucked away behind the trim on either side. A ratcheting box end wrench, 8mm, would have made that much easier as you need your other hand to pull the trim out of the way while holding the metal strut in place. put some tape on the back of the wrench over the head of the nut to keep it from falling out while you work. A headlamp makes seeing what you are doing easy. A shop vac is useful to get out the debris that will have collected in the housing. Don't tighten them down until both are started so you can move the strut around as needed. There are good videos online that cover the whole process, I recommend Eric the Car guy's.

Cheaply made, instructions don't match markings on filter
This filter is cheaply made. There's about half as many pleats as the 3rd party filter I previously had installed in my 2016 Honda Odyssey. I don't expect it'll do nearly as good of a job, likely I'll replace it with the other brand I've been using in the fall. The instructions show to place the fold of the last pleat on each end into the little ridges in the filter carrier, which is how I've always seen filters be installed. But when doing this on my Odyssey it made the arrows printed on the end point in the wrong direction, which directly conflicted with the instructions.I won't be buying this, or any other Bosch filter, again.

Not OEM Quality; Direction Arrow Conflicts
Installed on a 2005 BMW Z4 E85.The factory box (yellow) is flimsy, and was poorly packed by Amazon. The filter was mushed, but not badly enough (nor the hassle) to return. The physical construction is inferior to the OEM original. It fits, but the assembly is poor compared to what I removed. The direction arrow is opposite that of the OEM. I believe the difference is in relationship to the "front" of the car versus the airflow direction. I determined this by the distinct difference between to pleat patterns and matched the new installation with the old despite the air direction. It is also lacking a small tab that runs the length of the bottom of the OEM filter. It helps with removal, but doubts it adds to the seal.Removal and replacement was a bear, despite with others have experienced. My unit must be slightly different than those in the YouTube videos. It has two screws plus a rigid fastener in the center of the panel below the glove box. The fastener is a form of hard plastic rivet that can not be removed; I had to break the piece it was connected to (small air vent). TIP: Upon reinstallation the screw holes do not easily align. I used long nail to pry into place. All together my R&R took about 45 minutes. The next time will be quicker, but 10 minutes for my configuration is a challenge. So far there is a reduction in cabin air odor, but have no idea how long the carbon will work. There are better filters.

Hey, it fits
It's an air filter, it fit, air goes through it, dirt, dust and debris do not. Gosh golly it works just like the one I removed and I had money for beer left over. Not just any beer but beer in Canada where a box of 12 will leave you with loose change from $25. Mmmmm beer. Maybe I'll go change my cabin filter so I'll have reason to dri k more beer. Or I could use the spring sunshine as reason enough and sit on the deck instead.

My best amazon purchase yet! Read more below.
This fit my 2005 Porsche Cayenne S perfectly, the car had sat in a garage for two years before I bought it last month and the cabin air filter had a smell so bad when you tuned the heat on that the old owner sold the me car for $20,000 less than it was worth because he figured the car wasn’t salvageable due to the smell. It was as if a family of raccoons lived in the old air filter, it stunk that bad.The old owner is a dentist and had no knowledge about cars at all.All it took was one cabin filter change and now the smell is gone. One of my girlfriends was with me when I bought the car and upon smelling the air when I bought it she said “I’m going to puke, I’m never riding in here I don’t care how beautiful this car is”After changing the filter today I asked her to have a seat inside and I turned the heat on, she looked horrified when I turned the fan on but she inhaled, opened the passenger door and got out, I thought oh no, she must still smell something, she then opened the back door, jumped into the back seat and invited me to join her to christen my new car that no longer stinks.I highly recommend this part, I’ll be changing it every six months just to keep the air fresh, clean and free of allergy causing particles and I suggest you do the same thing.

The BEST car air-filter - stop paying retail!!
We have tried all sorts of air filters from various retail options - even discount auto parts places. NO ONE can compare with this Bosch air filter. At less than $20 we almost thought it had to be a fake. Installed in less than 5 minutes with a perfect fit on our Toyota Tundra. Would definitely buy it again.

Perfect
Fitted perfectly in my 1999 Honda Civic DX. Make sure that the model you're ordering fits your car by searching on google. This review section is a combined section of multiple air filter models, so even if you see a comment about a fitment on a particular car that is the same as yours, the filter you're looking at will not necessarily fit yours. Don't make your purchase based on a fitment mentioned in the reviews section, make it based on the model number you are looking at.

Bosch Quality
Filter is definitely of good quality. The first thing I noticed the perimeter of the filter is the standard paper but with a felt type lining that creates a snug seal when inserted into the filter housing in my vehicle. This differs from the standard plain paper siding which can allow unfiltered air past. Would definitely buy again.
