These brushes have much thinner bristles than I expected, but they work fine spreading soft butter on hot loaves of bread. The picture shows the bristle size in comparison to what I expected. Red brush purchased elsewhere (yes, it is coated in shortening as it is in frequent use) versus black brush being reviewed. I haven't had any trouble w bristles breaking or coming off. Butter cleans out easily w straight Dawn & rubbed in the palm of my hand, then rinsed in hot water.

They work as advertised. I use them for baking and for meats. These are the smaller brushes and come in a two pack in different colors. The wash well in the dishwasher. They can be used for applying butter to baking dishes, for spreading butter in top of baked good or for applying seasoning to meats. Superior to regular brushes that eventually loose their bristles. The two colors let you dedicate them for meats or baking goods if you wish although the clean up really well. They come in a larger version I assume is for basting meats but these work well for me. Good product. I recommend them

Way better than the ones with the wooden handles. If they aren't dried right away, the wood turns black. These are easy clean with your fingers and a little dish soap.

This are not nearly as sturdy as those I've bought at the store. Very fine brushless.

These were very small but seem to work well on our wings we cook. I was suprised by the durability. I use it to put butter on grilled cheese also. We would buy again.

Moving to silicone is new for me but it's so easy to clean it's such a plus. Size is decent and I like the mix of colours.

Wanted / needed something to brush oil or whatever on things I was cooking. This definitely does the job, my baked potatoes now have a crispy skin, mix salt with the oil and brush over. Really easy to clean too, win win 👍
