No white caste, fresh scent, works well for frizzy 4C hair. I use it for every protective style and it works well with the eco styler olive oil gel for my buns. Nice and thick and holds my hair in place the whole day.

For a smooth lasting finish to your curly thick, hard to hold hair in straight styles for ponytails. It is the best! It leaves a lasting nourishing finish and is water soluble. The smell is almost not exist and pleasant. It nurses the hair and is non-greasy. With proper use, you will not be disappointed.

I bought this because its what my braider used in her salon. I have very thick type 4a hair and it laid it down flat without the greasy feeling. I'll forever stick with this edge control because its simply the best ive ever tried. Ive been using edge control on myself since the 2000's (Let's Jam) and I finally found my holy grail. Over the last few years Ive been an Ebin girl because that lays my hair flat when I braid my own hair. but it can get greasy and leave a white cast. I would overlook it because of the hold power. BUT Neatbraid holds amazing and leave no cast or greasy feeling. This will now be my go to for when I braid my hair from now on

I’m fairly new to braiding, and this product has been a game changer for me! It helps me grip my hair so well, and even though I’m not the best braider yet, it lays my hair so neatly that it looks professional in my opinion. I also love that it doesn’t have a smell and isn’t too greasy for me. The thick consistency really helps me grip my natural hair and keep it in place, which makes my hairstyles last much longer and lay down nicely. The size is decent, it has lasted me quiet a while, but I do wish it came with more product especially when comparing it to others like Shine ’n Jam, where you can get almost the same amount for several dollars less. That said, I love this product so much that it’s worth the price to me. As I keep improving my braiding skills, I might just buy the larger bucket next time!

Nice flexible braiding gel that doesn't leave white residue in your hair. I've tried this braid gel on three different hairs and it does a great job. It doesn't leave the hair dry and it's not too shiny either. I've even used it on kids with thick hair to smooth a ponytail it it's perfect. I even use it on my edges to hold them down. A little goes a long way and it even washes out great. 10/10 will repurchase.

The best edge control and braiding gel I've used EVER. My scalp is usually swimming in perfumes and alcohol and an itchy mess after a hairstyle but none of that with this. My scalp is sensitive usually screams after a hair appointment but it's silent nights after using this. I'm a customer for life.
