compact pump that gets the job done
This utility pump works well for light-duty water transfer tasks. It’s compact, easy to set up, and started right up without issues. Flow rate is consistent and sufficient for draining small areas or transferring water where needed. The build quality feels solid for its size, and it runs smoothly. A good option if you need a reliable, portable pump for occasional use.

Good pump
Pump works as described. I always prime pump to get it drawing water from barrels. Have to see how long it will last.

Perfect little pump for small jobs
Nice little pump for the money, does the job, makes a little noise, does get hot, but works well. No problems so far, used it to fill up a 640 gal bladder tank no problems at all, and to pump it all back out again.

Used for garage parts cleaner
Used this to make a dishwasher in the garage recycle the solvent for parts cleaner. These worked great. I was able to save a ton not having to waste the cleaner going down the drain. The water filled fast and the pump is still working after 6+ months. A little loud but its in the garage and I don't mind knowing it works good.

Very short lifespan in my situation.
Pump is dead after four months! This backup DC Pump sat alongside an AC primary pump in the same sump crock placed at the same depth. So it sat about 3/4 deep in water most of the time. I tested it every few weeks to verify function and with the last test, it appears to have a locked rotor. Most likely internally flooded! Would not buy again!

Better than I originally thought
This pump is better than I thought (so I have changed my review and rating). I originally thought the pump lost most of its power/lift within 3 months. After replacing the pump, the new pump immediately had the same problem (low flow/poor lift). It turns out the check valve on my system was bad/clogged. After fixing the check valve, the pump's power/flow and lift are restored. I will see how long it actually lasts, but at three months it is still going strong. This pump moves water fast and I like the fact that I can use it anywhere I can take a 12v battery. If I needed another 12v pump, I would definitely buy this one again! ****** ORIGINAL REVIEW ******* When I first installed the pump, I would have given it 5 stars. I was impressed by its initial flow rate and lift. And, I liked that I could power it with a 12v battery without an inverter. I set it up to transfer water from a stock tank for my ducks to a water garden. It had less than 5 feet of lift and ran 6 times daily for 10 minutes on a timer. (Total run time of 1 hour per day) After 1 month the flow was noticeably slower. I brushed the deposits away from the intake and the flow improved a bit. At two months the water had slowed substantially further. I thoroughly cleaned the exterior intake grid and removed it to clean the impeller. Again, flow improved a bit. At 3 months, it is no longer capable of lifting water to 5 feet - useless for my intended purpose. But, it can still drain my stock tank when the hose is at about 3 ft lift or less. If you want a pump that you will use frequently, you should consider other options. If you expect to use it rarely or barely, it may be worthwhile.

Torture test in progress... (with update)
I bought this pump for my appliance repair business to empty washing machines full of water (with clogged pumps). However, I also have some serious drainage problems on my property. Having a split level house, we get quite a bit of water in our lower level. I currently have about 75ft of hose running from the standing water (I. E. muddy ditch) to my pump. You want to 'prime' your pump before turning it on. So, I used my shop vac on the far end of the hose to first get water flowing and the siphon effect takes over. Once the water was flowing, I hooked up my pump and have been letting it run for about an hour at this point. There was a provided triangle inlet port provided, which I promptly lost or threw away. So, to keep the junk away from the inlet port, I made a small circle/pen out of a strip of hardware cloth fence, which I zip tied together. This approach works great to keep the leaves out. Im trying to keep an ear out to make sure I don't run the pump dry, but to move this amont of water, it will likely take hours. So far, 5 stars. Recommended. **Update** As it turns out, the ditch did not take hours to empty, but just over an hour of continually running. I, wearing hearing aids and unable to hear thunder, was trying to listen to the pump from a distance for a change in noise. It was my mother in law who asked if there was an animal dying outside. Luckily, I was able to put the pieces together that it was instead my pump which sounded like it was in self destruct mode running with close to no water going through it. I was able to quickly stop the pump and did not appear to damage it. Still a big thumbs up for this pump. Saved the day, this Christmas day.

Love this pump. Used to push some water in my motorhome when did not have a pressure source but a tank of fresh water available. It means can put water in anywhere from any container and fill my tanks. Came with spare parts and all I needed to get going.
