desertcart.com: 5 Steps to a 5 AP U.S. History, 2014 Edition (5 Steps to a 5 on the Advanced Placement Examinations Series): 9780071804004: Armstrong, Stephen: Books Review: Got me a 5 - At the time of purchase I was considering in purchasing the Princeton Review or Barrons, but I like underdogs, which was why I bought this book. It's a great supplement towards upcoming chapter tests and definitely preps you for the actual exam with three practice tests! I have to say that the official apush test was easier than the ones given here, so if you can score a 55+ on this test then you are in good shape. In addition to my studies I also used Barrons flashcards, those were a lifesaver. If you want to pass the test then this is your book. Review: Pretty good - especially for last-minute crammers - Just received my advance order copy for my daughter. Follows the same format as the European History book, which is concise and VERY high level to understand the big points in history. The book is excellent to read along with your classroom text as you progress through the year. I highly recommend this book for those who need to really catch-up as well. It's a great summary, and if you REALLY get this short version down cold, and can write a decent essay, you will get your passiing score. Best of luck to you!

Would recommend for review.
This was very helpful for my AP US History class. I took it as a junior in high school over a semester and reviewed this book before all of our tests and quizzes. I ended up with an A- for the class and a three on the exam. Ultimately I was happy with this, as I was eligible for college credit from this.

Thanks!
You can never have too much knowledge. I am glad I bought this for my Kindle and happy with price and purchase. Better that having my bookshelves fall down! Thanks!

Perfect for Studying for the AP U.S. History
We had several books to help my daughter, Danielle, get ready for the AP U.S. History test, but we found this one to be most helpful. It includes a number of practice tests and is packed with information and tips that really helped Dani.

Flimsy
This is required reading for the coming school year so I cannot rate the content yet... only the condition. The publisher chose to go with unusually thin paper stock. It's like holding a flimsy phone book. A bit odd.

Good book
If you want to pass that AP exam I suggest you get this book. It has a nice schedule for what you should be studying at that time, it has practice tests, and a lot (A LOT!!) of information that will definitely help you.

Highly Reccomended
Extensive and impressive guide to APUSH exam. I did almost everything except the essays and got a 4, many of the practice questions were exactly on the exam. If you work through it all you will, no doubt, get a 5.
