Decided to go for the warm (500gsm) organic version of the duvet after some research into the variety of products available. Elsewhere the 10-14 tog range for wool duvets seems to be more in the 550-600gsm range so worked on the assumption this would be closer to 10 than 14.Turns out to be perfect - very snug and nicely weighted. Fills the duvet cover perfectly and settles nicely on the bed - much better than feather duvets and vastly more comfortable than hollowfibre. Seems to be effective at regulating temperature - neither too warm or too cool. Will undoubtedly be too heavy for summer - but that suits me fine as I prefer just a light sheet in the summer.Highly recommended.

Duvet came well packed and fits duvet covers fully. Not smelly at all. I live in an old stone house and it keeps me lovely and warm. No noise like feather and down makes. Sleeping well!

This is a perfect quilt. It’s Cosy, light, warm and it’s made using British Wool. If all duvet manufacturers started using Wool rather than the environmentally damaging plastic fibers, farmers would be able to sell their wool rather than having to pay for it to be taken away.I can’t see any drawbacks and it gave me the best nights sleep I think I’ve ever had.Pillows next!Thank you wool room for a great product.Two month update.No matter how cold it gets this quilt is always warm and cosy. It has improved the quality of my sleep massively.

After a lot of research I took the plunge and picked this beauty! Well presented and arrived in a bag which will be very handy for storing in the summer when I purchase the light weight duvet. Very well made , good weight and so comfortable at night. Some have mentioned odours but my duvet was odourless. Really really pleased with this duvet. Slight issue with delivery but seller dealt with it efficiently. Thank you .

I was a bit apprehensive about this, I like a nice warm duvet and the other half is the opposite, being a medium cover 7-10 tog. I thought maybe it wouldn’t be warm enough as I usually have 13 tog. This duvet is plenty warm enough but at the same time not too warm for hubby who really likes it. It’s just like having a thin blanket on the bed it’s not heavy or bulky and is very comfortable. I have already recommended it to lots of family and friends., and would recommend it to anyone.

Pros:-Definitely helps regulate temperature during the night-Love how it drapes over you and I do sleep really well with it compared to previous duvet-No issues with smell like some of the other reviews mentioned.-Not heavy.Cons-Isn't as warm as my previos duvet of the same tog. Doesn't feel warm enough for winter and our so called spring. I have to use another blanket on top. But I've read this is a con with wool duvets in general.Will report back once I've tested it out in the summer.
