Great tape, big fan

The product arrived packaged well and oddly smelled like christmas. Its a big roll of double sided tape, roughly the width of quarter, see pictures included for size references and packaging details. I use this tape to hang picture frames and cable channels to hide network and audio video cable. The tape is quite thin and will attach most items to a wall without a noticeable gap. This stuff is fantastic and works well as long as the item is not in a very hot environment. It holds a decent amount of weight and sticks to most surfaces very quickly. I will be purchasing more, what a great product and price.

Much better than the original adhesive strips that come packaged with products. I have had issues with cable holders/organizers falling off after a few weeks with the original adhesive that came with the organizer, but a strip of this stuff and it’s now been on for months with no issues whatsoever. Very easy to use, and if you make a mistake and need to reposition it, it’s fairly easy to slowly pull off and reset it.

I bought this mounting tape for a very specific use. I print out my photos onto canvas and I like to hang them on my walls. The canvas prints are remarkably light but I I have no idea of the exact weight. Easy peasy you say, right? Well not really. The canvas is folded up at the back and stapled. This means there are 1/2” difference in depth between the vertical side vs the horizontal. Through much experimentation I found using a double layer of tape smoothed out the different depths and allowed for maximum contact with the wall. Removing the backing from the tape proved quite a challenge. I finally found that by using a small sharp knife I could slowly tease the backing off. Figuring this out took me quite a bit of practice and patience. I’d recommend this tape, but only if you’re sure about your application and can figure out the removing the backing thing. By the way this is permanent mounting tape and I’ve found 50% of the time removal will strip small areas down to the drywall.

I had to hang 6 cork strips in the office I work in. I work in a warehouse with painted walls. The adhesive strips that came with the corkstips did not keep them up longer then a day. I also tried using power tape that is used to install flooring, which also did not hold them on the walls longer then a day! I purchased this mounting tape and its been about 3 weeks - so far so good! When nothing else worked, this did. I had to cut the tape in half width wise to make it hide behind the cork strip, outside of that it works like a charm!

I am using these to hang a bunch of art around my apartment. They are very strong and nothing has fallen. However, when I did have to take some pieces down, the paint on the wall did peel off. But I definitely prioritize wanting my stuff to stay up more than caring how the wall will look when the art comes down. I Kinda think people who want super strong stickiness but also stickiness that can suddenly become Unsticky when you want to remove stuff are expecting too much. If you want the sticky, this is it

I was planning to mount two surge protectors and a USB hub when I happened to read about this tape as an option for mounting items that weigh up to 2 pounds. It was not terribly expensive, so I decided to give it a try. It is amazing how securely these items are now mounted to the bottom of my office desk. My main piece of advice is to be certain of the position where you place this tape, as it is very difficult to remove after you use it to stick an item in place. A+

It is hard to find good double-sided tape that actually sticks. Flat double-sided tape is only useful when you have to very flat surfaces (such as paper on paper). The foam helps to provide a better surface for adhesion which makes this tape really good. I found this not only easy to cut across but also down the length of the tape making it versatile. I haven't had any adhesion issues. I even applied this to some 3D printed PLA parts in my garage while it was very cold and again, no adhesion issues. I don't have any other tape (besides duct tape) that will adhere like this when it is so cold (Chicago winter).
