Q: Can you turn off the microphone? I’d rather just use this for video and use my ear buds for voice.

I am not an expert but I am pretty sure that you can select the sound source in the software of your device. The microphones in the camera will of course only generated the sound sent to the recipient.

Q: can this fot on a monitor?

Yes it’s adjustable so can fit on to a laptop monitor or something slightly wider too. I’m really impressed with its versatility

Q: Would this work on a Smart TV?

Not a Samsung only via a wirelessly connected tv
