Great item. You need RW DVD's so that you can Format them. this will allow you to reprogram them over and over!! They come with cases as well ( you will not nhave to buy the cases separately like many other brands ),

just what I needed to record my shows

The only reason I gave it 4 stars is I don't like the way the disks are branded. A marker doesn't like the printing on the disks. You have to write around it or run the risk of it smearing. Other than that, the are a great quality and value.
