Standard clay, works well
I got this as a Christmas gift for my son with his first pottery wheel. It’s a huge block of clay so will last forever. It was easy to use and decent quality. It worked well for him on the wheel. It air dries. For us it took overnight to harden but that was for a thicker piece of pottery. Once dry, if it gets wet, it will soften again so if you’re looking for something more permanent that won’t do this I suggest you go with a kiln-dried clay. Fair price compared to other options I found on Amazon. Would definitely buy again.

Air dry clay
We recieved moist clay. Definitely not dried out. Not easy to manipulate coming straight out of the box, but after a while of working the clay it became malleable. Air dried VERY nicely. No cracks, shrinking, or crumbling like we have experienced with other air dry clay. Our clay projects are sturdy and solid with this. We still have a lot left and even after 2 months sitting packed in its wrapper, it's still moist and ready to go.

Good for larger projects with little detail, drys quickly and becomes brittle.
The media could not be loaded. This product works quick and easily, easily molds and is shapable, however, after it drys it becomes very brittle. Would be good for larger sculpting projects but not for detailed projects. When trying to carve out small details I has a tendency to break away in large chunks.

Will crack
Was fun to use most of the pieces we made cracked and fell apart. Good for creations that are one single piece.

Easy to work with
The clay was moist and easily sculpted! The kids little hands were able to work with this clay easily. Also I didn't have to worry about the youngest if some found its way into a mouth.

Air dry clay
I ordered this clay in May of this year, and just now able to use it, and it's the worst. I use it to cover some glass jars to make Jack-o-lanterns with my niece and nephew and the clay cracked all the may thought, I went to pick the project up, and the clay came off of the glass in pieces. We worked really hard on them, my niece and nephew are in school, when they come home they are going to be very sad at there projects. I paid about $30 for this to happen and it shouldn't of. I have no ideal how long the clay was in Amazon's warehouse, but I won't be buying this clay again.
