A quality product.
Very pleased with this iron. Well designed and so much easier to use being cordless. Very fast heat up with good steam production. Large water reservoir avoids frequent refilling. This is a good quality product and good value. Highly recommended.

Nice & light even with the base attachment left on. Will probably only use it cordless when I am pressing seams etc when sewing. Powerful enough for everyday ironing. Great little iron for the price.

Half the weight, a third of the price!
This iron was purchased to replace a big name cordless steam iron that I'd had for a few years and was starting to get a little tired. Having read previous reviews, I thought I'd take a punt on the Tower and I'm so glad I did! I've never considered ironing to be a pleasure and still don't but the Tower has made it slightly more palatable. It's lightweight, versatile, portable, and has plenty of steam power - does the job as well as much more expensive units. The small base can be locked onto the iron to enable continual corded use but I've only used it cordless. I've secured the base to the ironing board with velcro as others have suggested which is a major improvement on my previous iron which had to have the base unit permanently clamped into place. Heats up and is ready for steam action quickly, and is just about ready for another pass after replacing in the base and adjusting the garment on the board. It's occasionally tricky to locate in the base but that's probably because I'm rushing, and it'd be nice if the internal light illuminated when it was ready to return to the base to re-charge but you get to anticipate when that is. And these are very minor quibbles. All in all, an absolute bargain that I could replace twice over and still be in credit when compared to the outlay on my previous iron. Worth every penny!

Get what you pay for...not built to last
Update - 12th May 2025 Unfortunately, the issue I raised before has become worse over time. The charging point on the base is very small and has a small pin which you need to be very precise to get into the right place. The pin has been bent slightly and now it is very difficult to get the iron into a charging position. If you are lucky enough to get it to charge, the iron is at such an unbalanced angle it is more likely to topple over. A significant design flaw to be honest. I would avoid the product as this has happened after 8 months of use. Purchased to replace older Morphy Richards cordless iron. I looked at replacing like for like but the Morphy Richards model was close to £50 and the Tower model was close to £25. So, how have I found it....at a basic level, it is still an iron, and gets the job done. I had a Tower air fryer which was basic, but good, and kind of expected this to be the same, which it was. So on this basis, about met fairly low expectations. There are a couple of issues though with the Tower iron. The underside of the handle is cramped by a steaming button, which does make it fiddly to hold. Also, the base unit is oddly designed, and not as stable as the Morphy Richards, or as easy to put the iron onto. With the Tower model, you have to be very precise when placing the iron on the base unit, like you're landing a rocket. I must admit, I do miss the wider base of the Morphy Richards....that being said, the whole reason I was replacing the iron was because I knocked the Morphy Richards off the ironing board when trying to do it too fast. One general gripe with cordless. It does make things easier, particularly when setting the board up, as you don't have to get so close to the socket to be able to reach all ends of the board with the iron. But no one has yet provided a good solution for how to tidy the cable up at the end. An area to coil the cable as part of the base would make a good addition to the design.

Iron takes out wrinkles very easily and glides really well. No hard pressing! It is versatile in that you can use it either with the chord or without.

It took me a very long time to come to a decision on which steam iron to purchase and this is what I chose at the end. I don't regret my decision after all as this iron delivers the goods.
