Matiz Sardines Lightly Smoked 4.2 oz Imported From Spain (5 pack)

I’ve been trying different sardines including Nuri and feel that the Matiz sardines are better than Nuri. The flavor is awesome and the olive oil is of high quality. I would highly recommend the Matiz to anyone interested in good tasting sardines. The health benefits only add to the enjoyement.

Absolute Delish. Not very fishy at all. (In my opinion). Texture is delicate and just right. Nice meaty taste thats not overwhelming and a nice almost sweetness too the taste. So far one of my favorite tin fish so far. 1 word review is quality.

Best smoked sardines I have ever had...not too light and not too heavy. The Spanish olive oil is the icing on the cake.

This was my first time trying sardines, ever, so I didn’t know what to expect. They weren’t exactly to my taste, but I thought they’d be healthy to eat. Also, they had little bones which I had to remove. Backbones, I guess. Anyway, I didn’t enjoy the fish, but my cat loved licking up the olive oil that they were packed in. Many other reviewers seemed to enjoy these sardines, so I’m not a typical reviewer, in this case. Sorry that I didn’t like the fish. Linda P.

I love Matiz sardines. They are of very high quality...some of the best. Note that they are large, four to a can. Regardless, they have supreme flavor. Some reviews ding them because they taste more like tuna. Yeah, that is because they are of such high quality. I have a fishing buddy that I always gift a few cans and you would think I gave him a new rod and reel. He raves over them.

I have been searching for sardines that remind me of the ones I used to eat as a child and these hit the mark. They are perfectly salted with a slightly smoky flavor. The texture of the fish is perfect. It is hard to find a sardine with the whole fish, bones and all, that is high quality without high cost but this product checks all the boxes. I highly recommend these sardines and the company that produces them they are both great.
