Sweet little trim hammer.
First the nice stuff. Craftsmanship is fine. Hammer is extremely good in terms of weight and balance. Handle is well shaped, comfortable and fit properly to the head with no gaps showing. Hammer head grind is even, well polished and the strike face is slightly convex. Now for the hiccups The claws on this hammer are not sharp and the grain orientation of the wood handle is less than optimal. Make no mistake, this is a fine hammer. Reminds me of my old Hart trim hammer.

Great hammers
It's review day here so I'm happy to report that the Daluge hammers are my favorites. I have the 16 and the 21 Framer and they are well balanced and a pleasure to use and beautiful. It's so good to know that a tool maker cares about function all the way to the polish. That polish won't last long on these hammers though. They'll be out there working. I'm trying to save the waffle head on the framer when I need to whack a bar, but that practice probably won't last long either. These hammers point well and even my skinny arm can throw them accurately. Nail holding feature is great and fully functional and wood handles are the best shock absorbers.

Good hammer in all aspects
I bought this dalluge hammer after it being recommended to me by a friend of mine who is a life long carpenter .6 months in of using it , let me say it is the Best hammer I’ve owned. I’ve had estwings, I’ve had stillettos , Stanleys, everything.I’ve used them all. This by far is my favorite hammer . Swings beautifully, claw is very fine , sharp. I’m not one to ever write reviews but Truly the durability , pry leverage , craftsman ship and everything about this hammer is remarkable. I plan to stay with dalluge for the rest of my career as a finish carpenter . Would highly recommend

Good Hammer. Still not a Hart. Wood grain orientation and growth seems to be ignored these days...
I searched for a Hart T-16, and this is the closest I could get- not bad, similar balance and handling, but still not a Hart. All in all, a good value for $25, and I like these better than the Vaughan 99's. Jury's out on the head's steel, and ability to grab a nail at odd angles. Facing is good, and probably can be redressed easily. Handle wood grain wayyyy off- 90 deg. wrong and too fast grown hickory (<10 rings/ inch), but will do for my electrician son. It wouldn't last in a house building unless one was careful.

Wood handle trim hammer
This is a nice hammer , the head is polished ,the wedges are good and the handle is straight, not curved. There are small scratches on it that I would guess are from being stored or from handling. I was looking for a Hart t-16 that I had years ago. I settled for this one. I would haved preferred to select one off the rack like I used to do. ,because after all they are all the same price and I could feel it,check for grain on the handle and select the best one. Still , with what's available these days , it's not a bad trim hammer.

Nice trim hammer
Needed a new hammer ... well not actually I just like hammers. I have a few trim hammers and decided to try this hammer based upon the reviews.I really like this hammer, the quality versus cost is really good. The handle feels nice and is very ergonomic compared to a few of my straight broom stick style handle trim hammers. The fit and finish is flawless and the head is perfectly sized for my style of use.

Great little hammer
Great for siding and trim when a nail gun won't do. Has a heavy rounded edge and short neck, so not the best nailing an edge close to a lip, but worth it for the balance and not leaving hammer marks on cedar trim and siding. One of four hammers I carry to work, one of which is also a dalluge (framer). Nail guns are everything these days, but I couldn't get by without a hammer and dalluge is my favorite because of Larry Haun.
