The best protein which doesn’t taste powdery. I used to enjoy the PHD protein bar and stopped eating them, then when I went back to the PHD bar and found it tasted too powdery. The ESN bar hazelnut has a soft centre which I thoroughly enjoy and I look forward to trying the other flavours. The only downside is shelf life date is not very long so I would recommend buying one flavour before purchasing another one, or if you intend to eat a bar every day then it shouldn’t be an issue.

The bars were actually nice, but they only had an expiry date of within 3 weeks. At this price point that just isn’t good enough.

Ich nutze die ESN Designer Bars (Almond Coconut) vor allem als schnellen Protein-Snack im Alltag: nach dem Training, im Büro oder unterwegs, wenn keine richtige Mahlzeit passt. Die Riegel sind angenehm sättigend und treffen geschmacklich die Richtung „Mandel-Kokos“ ziemlich gut – eher süß und dessertartig, sodass sie für mich eher ein Ersatz für Süßigkeiten als ein „neutraler“ Fitnessriegel sind. Konsistenz ist weich bis leicht chewy, nicht staubtrocken, was ich bei Proteinriegeln wichtig finde. Pro: guter Geschmack (Mandel/Kokos klar erkennbar), praktisch portioniert, sättigt zuverlässig, ordentliche Proteinmenge pro Riegel. Contra: für meinen Geschmack teils recht süß; als täglicher Snack kann es auf Dauer „schwer“ wirken. Preislich meist höher als einfache Proteinriegel. Im Vergleich zu klassischen, günstigeren Proteinriegeln sind diese deutlich „snackiger“ und weniger trocken. Gegenüber sehr knackigen/„crispy“ Riegeln wirken sie weicher und eher wie eine Süßigkeit mit Protein-Upgrade. Fazit: Ich würde sie wieder kaufen, wenn ich gezielt einen leckeren, sättigenden Protein-Snack für unterwegs suche. Für den täglichen Konsum würde ich aber abwechseln, weil mir die Süße sonst schnell zu viel wird.

Las tienes q llevar en otro envase porque el envoltorio que traen siempre se abre solo y se sale la barrita por la bolsa de deporte además de que se cae el relleno. Están muy bien de sabor.

Le barrette proteiche solitamente sono molto stoppose e di conseguenza con un sapore ed una consistenza sgradevole, queste a parer mio hanno un giusto compromesso gusto/rapporto proteico.
