A powerful concise version of the larger Katzung book, this book is written in fairly simple language, and is filled with features that make studying Pharmacology a joy. I have switched to this book after going through KDT and Lippincott, something that I'm grateful for. Pro-points: - Beautiful illustrations and tables in text. - Summary of the drugs covered at the end of each chapter. - It has wholesome MCQs after each chapter, which provide a good review in itself. - There are two full syllabus tests at the end, with 100 MCQs in each test. - There is a very specific checklist that ensures that we don't skip learning key topics. The only limitation is that some drug names present exclusively in Bharat do not find a mention here. For that purpose, Pharmacology by GRG could be used as an adjunct to this book.

Highlights of the book 1. Exposure to International curriculum and drugs 2. Quick revision 3. Summary of drugs after every chapter 4. Well explained, easily understandable 5. Short and crisp outline of Katzung It is suitable for all medical students of all countries. Useful for usmle, neet PG also. Only drawback is classification which can be learnt from Classification of drugs by K D Tripati

No qualms about the content of this book - just what I need for pharmacology refresher. The book I received is new but there are printing issues (yellow stains) in some pages
