Wow, this was my first time using an at home perm and it was amazing. I permed my pre-teen son's hair and this perm solution set was great. The curls came out very robust and impressive. No, perms do not smell good. I don't think one that does even exists. But we ventilated the room and it was fine. This kit DOES NOT COME WITH EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO PERM. It comes with the solution and a processing cap. You will also need to buy curling papers, rods, a sectioning comb, clips to hold hair back, and the roll of cotton that keeps the solution from dripping into the face. All-on-all, much more cost effective than a perm at a salon, even with the extra items needed. I recommend!

I was amazed at the quality for finding this on Amazon and loved this product better than what I typically find at Salon Beauty Stores. The smell alone was so much better and will keep me buying this again and again! Used on my 10 year old and had zero issues! His curls turned out amazing and he’s now part of the baseball curl trend.

Like any perm it smells really strong, but it didn’t get the job done processing was very easy and simple

Perfect for a boy perm. Easy to use (if you check out a couple how to YouTubes). A lot of product. You could do very long hair and still have some left over. Or do about 3 boys with this one kit.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT BUY THIS!!!! I wouldn’t give it any star if I could. This has damaged my hair so bad I had to cut most of it off. The breakage is real. I had hair below my shoulders now I have a short bob. The breakage is almost to my roots. I’ve followed all the directions, did exactly what was said to do. I used this in November and my hair is still extremely damaged, and every time I brush it there is more breakage. Please please don’t use this on your hair.

The perm solution was disappointing. It didn’t seem strong enough, and the curls came out loose and didn’t last as expected. I followed the instructions carefully, but the results were underwhelming. For the price, I was hoping for a more effective product.
